Visit Bahrain organises Unique Travel Fair in collaboration with BTEA
Visit Bahrain organised the Unique Travel Fair at the Solymar Hotel, in coordination with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA). The event brought together 150 tourism, hospitality, aviation, and entertainment companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and other countries.
Sarah Ahmed Buhejji, CEO of BTEA, highlighted the fair as a platform for businesses to showcase services, engage with clients and travel agents, and establish partnerships. She noted its alignment with Bahrain's Tourism Strategy 2022 – 2026, which aims to position the Kingdom as a global tourism destination and attract more visitors. She commended the private sector's efforts to expand into new markets and enhance cooperation with international tourism leaders.
Ali Amrullah, CEO of Visit Bahrain, said the event reinforces Bahrain's position as a premium travel destination. He noted a strong interest in Bahraini tourism and hospitality companies, with several deals and agreements signed with international firms.
He added that Visit Bahrain used the fair to promote the Kingdom's tourism offerings in collaboration with the private sector, including group tours, accommodation, transport, tailored travel programs, and entertainment events.
The two-day fair featured a workshop where participating companies presented travel packages. Bahraini exhibitors showcased their services and distributed promotional materials highlighting Bahrain's cultural heritage, attractions, luxury hospitality, and year-round events.
