RSS discusses issues from Manipur to Operation Sindoor during three-day Pracharak meet
ANI 07 Jul 2025, 22:36 GMT+10 New Delhi [India], July 7 (ANI): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) three-day All India Pracharak Meeting, held at Delhi's Keshav Kunj, concluded on July 6. The event commenced on July 4. The meeting primarily focused on planning the centenary year celebrations of the RSS, scheduled to begin nationwide in October. However, the discussions extended well beyond the Sangh's internal programs, touching upon several pressing national and international matters. According to sources, apart from centenary celebrations, the meeting also deliberated on attacks on Hindu temples in Canada and the United States, as well as on the persecution of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. Issues such as illegal infiltration from Bangladesh and religious conversions were also discussed. The meeting reviewed the Sangh's efforts to restore peace in the violence-hit state of Manipur. Another topic of discussion was the situation in border states during Operation Sindoor. Pracharaks working in these regions shared their perspectives on the situation arising from Indo-Pak tensions, and the meeting explored possible roles that RSS volunteers could play under such circumstances. The meeting also touched upon the current political climate in India. Discussions were held on how to reduce caste and linguistic divides caused by political polarisation and to strengthen the social fabric. Emphasis was laid on promoting social harmony. The meeting saw participation from RSS pracharaks from all 11 zones and 46 provinces. RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale led it. (ANI)

Left parties slam RSS demand to remove ‘socialism' and ‘secularism' from constitution's preamble
NEW DELHI: The Left parties on Friday strongly condemned RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale's call for the removal of 'socialism' and 'secularism' from the Preamble of the Constitution, denouncing it as an assault on India's founding values. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] stated that the demand exposed the RSS's long-standing agenda to subvert the Constitution and replace the secular democratic republic with a Hindu Rashtra. 'RSS's demand to remove socialism and secularism from the Constitution's Preamble is a direct assault on India's core values. The RSS has always upheld Manusmriti over the Constitution. Secularism and equality are its foundation. The CPI(M) will fiercely resist this divisive agenda to protect our democratic republic,' posted CPI(M) general secretary M.A. Baby on X. The CPI(M) said the inclusion of these principles in the Preamble was not arbitrary, but represented the ideals for which freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh and his comrades gave their lives.

RSS After Operation Sindoor: Full Support To Forces, Zero Tolerance For Divisive Forces
Last Updated: Calling India's action "just and necessary", RSS backed Operation Sindoor and urged citizens to stay alert against anti-national conspiracies aimed at disrupting harmony The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Friday issued a strong statement backing the Central government and Indian Armed Forces in the wake of Operation Sindoor — a series of precision military strikes targeting Pakistan-based terror infrastructure following the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians, most of them Hindu pilgrims. Congratulating the leadership for decisive action against 'Pak-sponsored terrorists and their supporting ecosystem", the RSS said the strikes have 'served justice to the aggrieved families and the entire country" and have 'enhanced the morale and self-respect of the nation." The statement, signed by RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, called the operation 'necessary and inevitable for the country's security," and pledged full support to India's efforts to dismantle terror infrastructure and its support systems inside Pakistan. The statement comes amid escalating tensions. On the night of May 7, hours after India struck nine terror hubs inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Pakistan launched missiles at Amritsar, which were successfully intercepted by India's S-400 and Akash air defence systems. In retaliation, India targeted and destroyed Pakistan's air defence systems in Lahore. A day later, on the evening of May 8, Pakistan attempted a broader escalation by launching a barrage of missiles, drones, and artillery fire at multiple Indian cities along the western front. According to sources, all incoming threats were neutralised by India's air defence systems. In a calibrated response, India struck Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Sialkot, sending a strong message of deterrence. The RSS condemned 'savage, inhuman attacks" by the Pakistani army on religious sites and civilian settlements along the border, expressing 'heartfelt condolences to the families of victims." The organisation reaffirmed its stance that 'in this hour of national crisis, the entire country stands with the government and armed forces in spirit and action." Emphasising civic responsibility, the RSS urged citizens to comply fully with instructions from the government and local administration and to be alert to any attempts to disturb national unity and social harmony. 'We all have to be cautious and not let any conspiracy of anti-national forces succeed in disrupting social unity and harmony," the statement said. The RSS also called on the public to extend support to the armed forces and civic authorities, wherever and however required, and to actively strengthen national security efforts.
