Chris Tomlin, Matthew West announced as headliners for RiseFest
SHELDON, Iowa (KCAU) — Ready for music festivals this summer? For Christian music-lovers, there's a music festival coming to Sheldon, Iowa. RiseFest, this year, is June 20 and 21. On Friday, June 20, the main stage will feature the following artists: Matthew West, Rend Collective, Patrick Mayberry, and Allison Eide. The following day, June 21, the main stage will welcome: Chris Tomlin, Crowder, KB, Megan Woods, and a few worship services. Interested in more festivals? Other than music, RiseFest offers camping options, food vendors, seminars, a kids' zone area, and a Prayer Tent. General admission to RiseFest is $68, and kids under 10 years old are free. Local band to be featured on Saturday in the Park Main Stage
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — One of Sioux City's most well-known local acts will be taking to the Saturday in the Park (SITP) Main Stage this year. GhostCat will be playing on the Main Stage for the 2025 SITP. This comes just a couple of years after rocking the Abe Stage in 2023. Saturday in the Park described them as a band who 'blends emotional depth with sonic experimentation—crafting intimate, high-energy shows that feel more like shared experiences than a typical concert.' 35th Saturday in the Park Main Stage, Abe Stage headliners announced
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The headliner for the Main Stage at the 35th Saturday in the Park has been announced! The performers for this year's Saturday in the Park Main Stage will officially be announced Tuesday at 10 a.m. For now, here are the two headliners for the Main Stage. This year, the Main Stage will be headlined by Teddy Swims. Teddy Swims' career began when he would release song covers on YouTube. This eventually led to his popularity skyrocketing in 2023 with the release of his single 'Lose Control.' Teddy Swims is known for blending soul, country, and pop into sound all his own. Joining Teddy Swims on the Main Stage is Mavis Staples. Mavis Staples is a prolific rhythm and blues and gospel singer. Her rise to fame began when she was a part of her family's band, The Staples Singers. Staples has gone on to win three Grammy Awards, including one for Album of the Year. She is also a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. She has also been inducted into multiple music halls of fame as part of The Staples Band and for her solo work. KCAU 9 will be live Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at the Hard Rock, where officials will officially be making the announcement. They may even drop a few new names during the announcement! Saturday in the Park looking for food vendors for 2025
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — One of Sioux City's biggest annual events is on the hunt for dining options for the big day. Saturday in the Park, a massive free music festival, is looking for food trucks and taco stands. In particular, the festival says they're looking for 'bold, creative, and delicious' vendors. National Music Museum receives $1M donation for renovations Saturday in the Park takes place on July 5, 2025.
