Two of the biggest names in boxing, Saul Álvarez and Terence Crawford, will face off in Las Vegas on Sept. 13, Chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Turki Alalshikh confirmed. The Riyadh Season showdown will be live streamed on Netflix to over 300 million subscribers across the world. 'On September 13, Canelo and Crawford, two legends of boxing, will finally compete against each other in the fight of the century. Alongside Dana White and Sela, we will deliver something truly incredible in Las Vegas for fans around the world to enjoy through Netflix,' Alalshikh said. The boxing champions will stage an international three-city press tour this month, starting in Riyadh on June 20, before heading to the US for stops in New York on June 22 and Las Vegas on June 27. Both boxers expressed their enthusiasm and readiness for the anticipated fight. 'I'm super happy to be making history again and this time on a Riyadh Season Card that will be broadcast on Netflix,' Álvarez said. 'On September 13, I'm ready to show once again that I am the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.' Meanwhile, Crawford said: 'My perfect record speaks for itself.
