Five family members charged after Hamblen County business' property shot

HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Five family members, including two juveniles, are facing charges after detectives investigated a Hamblen County business' property being damaged by gunfire earlier this week. The Hamblen County Sheriff's Office said the family members, who live in Morristown, are facing charges stemming from the investigation. Lt. Jim Brooks stated. 'Once we located the vehicle, we had no problem determining the individuals who were involved.' The two juveniles suspected of causing the damage were charged reckless endangerment, vandalism, and unlawful possession of a firearm. As deputies apprehended the juveniles, three other family members were charged with Schedule VI violations, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and simple possession, the sheriff's office said. The sheriff's office said additional charges may be pending. CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A year-long operation targeting illegal drug sales in Carroll County has resulted in more than a dozen arrests and indictments, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Officials said a Carroll County Grand Jury returned indictments on Monday, May 5, charging 17 people with various drug charges. The TBI reported multiple agencies canvased Carroll County and nearby areas in search of the 17 individuals. 5 arrested in Nashville ICE operations identified Amid the investigation, six more people were charged 'under State of Tennessee arrest warrants,' said the TBI. As of publication, 15 suspects have been taken into custody. Their names and charges are listed below: Promise Marie Hicks, of Atwood, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). She has a bond of $50,000. Regina Jeanette Omahony, of Atwood, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). She has a bond of $100,000. Robert Dale Hunter, of Hollow Rock, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). He has a bond of $50,000. Stacy Renee Parker, of Huntingdon, was charged with two counts of simple possession of a Schedule VI drug (Marijuana), and two counts possession of drug paraphernalia. She has a bond of $3,500. Tanner Joseph Vetter, of McKenzie, was charged with one count simple possession of a schedule II drug (Methamphetamine), and one count possession of drug paraphernalia. He has a bond of $6,000. Tara Neal, of Hollow Rock, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). She has a bond of $75,000. Tosha Marie Simmons, of McKenzie, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). She has a bond of $50,000. Cornelius Montes Orgain, of McKenzie, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine), one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, one count of possession of a schedule VI drug (Marijuana) and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He has a bond of $50,000. Jacob Saulters, of Walnut, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). He has a bond of $50,000. James Horton, of McKenzie, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). No bond listed. Joseph Dominique Johnson, of Huntingdon, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). He has a bond of $50,000. Michael Antonio Gilbert, of Waverly, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). No bond listed. Michael Leon Hones II, of Hollow Rock, was charged with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine). No bond listed. Priest Weathers, of Huntingdon, was with one count of sale and delivery of a Schedule II drug (Methamphetamine) and is being held on a $50,000 bond. William Cody Schenk, of Huntingdon, was charged with two counts of simple possession of a Schedule VI drug (Marijuana) and two counts of drug Paraphernalia. He is being held on a $3,500 bond. Multiple agencies—including the Huntingdon Police Department, McKenzie Police Department, Bruceton Police Department, Hollow Rock Police Department, Carroll County Sheriff's Department, Henderson County Sheriff's Department, 24th Judicial Drug Task Force, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Drug Enforcement Agency, and Homeland Security Investigations—reportedly assisted in the operation. Gallatin PD: 'Children of all ages' at Easter party with alcohol, drugs before shooting

Gallatin police have arrested two men they say have gang ties after gunshots rang through a neighborhood on Easter Sunday, injuring two. Police say the shooting happened during an Easter egg hunt and party hosted by Henry Apple, 66, also known as Skully. Alcohol and drugs were present at the party, which was attended by adults and children of all ages, all of whom are long-standing Gallatin residents, a news release said. Officers were called to the shooting at Apple's home in the 100 block of South Maple Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. on April 20. Two people were found with gunshot wounds, and both were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Investigators identified Ladavious Antonio Henriontez Williams, 22, as a suspect in the shooting. Williams was found at 122 South Ford St. and arrested by the Gallatin Police Department and Sumner County Sheriff's Office. Emergency Management Agency personnel provided support during the search, the release noted. Police said Williams is a long-time Gallatin resident and confirmed gang member with a lengthy history of criminal activity. He faces several charges including attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment committed with a deadly weapon and was booked into the Sumner County Jail on $4.5 million bond. Apple was also arrested, booked in the Sumner County Jail and charged with simple possession of Schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities said he has a long history of narcotics trafficking and gang involvement. The investigation is continuing. Two-day, Tennessee undercover operation on human trafficking nets nine arrests, charges

A two-day, joint undercover operation led by state and local law enforcement and aimed at addressing human trafficking in the Hendersonville area has led to the arrest of nine people. On April 11 and 12, officers working in the sting placed decoy advertisements on websites linked to prostitution and sex trafficking with the focus of identifying people trying to hire minors for commercial sex acts, authorities said in a news release. The following suspects were charged and booked into the Sumner County Jail as part of the sting: Vincent Hozie Billingsley, 30, of Memphis, Tennessee. Steven Mitchell Cannon Jr., 51, of Charlotte, Tennessee. Jerry Edward Delp, 68, of Westmoreland, Tennessee. Morgan Garrett, 38, of Cordova, Tennessee. James Julious Jones, 43, of Gallatin, Tennessee. Trinity Elu Knutson, 20, of Conway, Arkansas. Carlynn Evon McIntosh, 28, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Druce Niverlle Phillips Jr., 21, of Nashville, Tennessee. Mahicol Jesus Maurera Rivas, 35, of Nashville, Tennessee. Billingsley faces one count of promoting prostitution, one count of simple possession Schedule VI and one count of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was given a $110,000 bond. Cannon faces one count of promoting prostitution. His bond was set at $55,000. Delp faces one count of patronizing prostitution of a minor. His bond was set at $75,000. Garrett faces one count of promoting prostitution. Her bond was set at $80,000. Jones faces one count of solicitation of a minor and one count of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. His bond was set at $85,000. Knutson faces one count of prostitution. Her bond was set at $5,000. McIntosh faces one count of prostitution. Her bond was set at $12,500. Phillips faces two counts of patronizing prostitution from a minor. His bond was set at $25,000. Rivas faces one count of promoting prostitution. His bond was set at $130,000. Court hearings are scheduled in Sumner County General Sessions Court for all nine suspects later this month. Investigators also worked to identify potential victims of human trafficking as part of the 2-day operation, and two people were reportedly identified as potential victims, recovered and offered services through human trafficking victim service organizations like Thistle Farms and AncoraTN, the release said. The multi-agency operation was led by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Human Trafficking Unit, Hendersonville Police Department, Sumner County Sheriff's Office, members of the 18th Judicial Drug Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations and Office of 18th Judicial District Attorney General Ray Whitley. HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 24-year-old man was charged with attempted murder after gunfire was reported in Hendersonville on Friday night. Hendersonville Police Department officers responded to the 100 block of Nokes Drive around 8:45 p.m. after emergency services received a report of a man firing a gun in a parking lot.
