POLICE have sealed off a street in the east end of Glasgow amid a major ongoing emergency incident.
Cops raced to a shop on Budhill Avenue, in the Springboig area, at around this evening.

Officers raced to the street at around 7pm

Officers cordoned off a Scotmid Co-op store at the corner of the street, blocking access to the public.
A large police van has been spotted parked at the scene directly outside the shop.
Officers were called to the store, which is close to Shettleston train station, when the alarm was raised at around 7pm.
Blue tape has been erected around the area, with numerous officers standing guard.
It covers the area around the Scotmid shop, which sits on the corner of the street, and the tape stretches around the bend of the road.
No one is being allowed access to get through this section of the road.
And it is also blocking anyone from accessing the now-closed Greggs branch, which is located next door.
It is unclear what sparked the emergency response.
However, officers appear to have concentrated their efforts on the Scotmid shop.
Concerned locals have flocked to social media after hearing of the incident in the Budhill area.

One local said they noticed an increased police presence at around 8pm.
While another said they saw a helicopter circling the skies above the area at around 8.30pm.
Someone else wrote: "Hope everyone is ok".
While a fourth chimed in: "Hope all the lovely staff are ok".
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
