New ‘Seven Seas Prestige' Raises The Bar On Ultra-Luxury Cruising

Rendering of twin staircase Atrium on Seven Seas Prestige Provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) offered a first look at its newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige. Set to launch in late 2026, the vessel is expected to make waves as Regent's first new ship class in ten years. A second Prestige Class ship is planned to set sail in 2029. RSSC collaborated with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri and design Studio DADO to construct and design the new ultra-luxury ship, Seven Seas Prestige. The collaboration builds upon successful past partnerships. Studio DADO, a Miami-based firm, was responsible for the spectacular interior architecture of Seven Seas Grandeur (launched in 2023, the last in Regent's Explorer Class). Grandeur garnered a host of awards for the excellence of its design, craftsmanship, and overall cruise experience. 'From stem to stern, this ship is striking, with statement pieces that will literally make you gasp…,' wrote Cruise Critic Editor-in-Chief Colleen McDaniel in her expert review of Seven Seas Grandeur. Regent Explorer Class ships have attracted a loyal following of discerning travelers who resonate with its branding as the 'most luxurious ship in the world.' That's a tough act to follow. Regent released renderings and a video of two lavish public spaces on board Seven Seas Prestige, the Starlight Atrium and Galileo's Bar. The line notes that inspiration for the design and decor of these spaces reflects a blend of old-world elegance and modern sophistication. Another view of the Starlight Atrium on Seven Seas Navigator Provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises Influenced by classical and Renaissance architecture, the two-story Starlight Atrium features twin spiral staircases that begin on Deck 4 and combine on Deck 5. 'Our goal was to get people to stop in their tracks, awe-struck by its sheer scale and magnificence,' said Yohandel Ruiz, founding partner of Studio DADO, in a Regent press release announcing the reveal. Sculptural furniture and the line's signature museum-quality art on Deck 5 encourage guests to linger there and soak in the ocean views. The soothing color palette of dusty rose, taupe and cream is conducive to relaxation. Galileo's Bar on Seven Seas Prestige Provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises From a seat at Galileo's Bar, guests can see the opulent spiral staircases and a ceiling styled like an oil painting, framed by metal detailing. The walls are clad in a limestone texture with jewel-like sconces. In addition, Regent will be unveiling new accommodation categories, new dining experiences, a reimagined Regent Suite and other innovations on Seven Seas Prestige. Seven Seas Prestige can accommodate up to 822 guests, which is considered at the low end of the small-to-mid ships category in size. However, the new ship promises the highest passenger-to-space ratio in the cruise industry. Regent is well-known for its inclusive pricing, which includes flights and transfers, gourmet dining in specialty restaurants, wine and spirits, entertainment, unlimited internet, valet laundry, gratuities, and one-night pre-cruise hotel package for guests staying in Concierge-level suites and higher. Galileo's Bar and Starlight Atrium: A peek at Regent's new Prestige class

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has provided a glimpse the Seven Seas Prestige, a ship expected to arrive in late 2026. It will be the first ship in a new class for Regent. The luxury line provided video and photo renderings of the Starlight Atrium and nearby Galileo's Bar. The Starlight Atrium will connect decks four and five with twin spiral staircases and feature seating beneath a towering, glass-enclosed ceiling. The staircases combine on deck 5, and then rise to deck 11. Another seating area on deck five of the atrium will offer ocean views. Featuring alcoves with sculptural furniture and curated art, the space was designed with a "neutral palette of dusty rose, taupe and cream. With embellished trims and fringed pillows, the alcoves hearken back to old-world detailing," Regent said. Regent said the Starlight Atrium's designer, Studio DADO, drew on "inspiration ranging from classical and Renaissance architecture." Studio DADO also was the interior architect for Regent's Explorer-class ships. Photo Credit: Regent Seven Seas Cruises "The Starlight Atrium is where the grandeur of Renaissance architecture meets modern luxury, creating a space that feels both timeless and contemporary," said Yohandel Ruiz, Studio DADO's founding partner. "Our goal was to get people to stop in their tracks, awe-struck by its sheer scale and magnificence." The atrium will connect with Galileo's Bar, the Casino, Prestige Lounge, Meridian Lounge, Coffee Connection, concierge desk and reception area. The reception area on deck 5 will feature pleated leather panels and a light fixture crafted from handblown glass and ceramic pearls. Galileo's Bar will have a canvas ceiling reminiscent of an oil painting, Regent said. The walls, clad in a limestone texture, will be adorned with sconces designed to resemble jewelry. Regent said Galileo name is a nod to the Seven Seas Navigator, a ship that will soon depart the line's fleet. The 822-passenger Seven Seas Prestige will be the line's first new ship since the Seven Seas Grandeur debuted in late 2023. The Grandeur was the third Explorer-class ship, following the Seven Seas Explorer (2016) and Seven Seas Splendor (2020).
