The entry of the Leapmotor brand into the market aligns with Stellantis' ambition to drive innovation and expand its electric vehicle (EV) footprint in one of the world's fastest-growing automotive landscapes. Leapmotor's approach to low-carbon mobility is in line with Stellantis' strategy, which puts sustainability in the driver's seat. In 2024, Leapmotor delivered nearly 300,000 vehicles, doubling its year-on-year growth. Global automotive giant Stellantis is set to bring Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker Leapmotor to India. Leapmotor is a group company of currently operates in India with Jeep and Citroen in 2015, Leapmotor claims to be the world's first pure electric vehicle (EV) company to implement cell-to-chassis (CTC) technology on a large scale since 2022. Stellantis to bring Leapmotor EVs to India

Stellantis has four electric vehicles currently in its portfolio. Leapmotor B10 has a claimed range of up to 600 km, according to CLTC. Stellantis has announced that they are all-set to bring the Leapmotor brand to the Indian market. Leapmotor sells electric vehicles in the global market and they will do the same in India as well. In 2024, Leapmotor delivered nearly 3,00,000 vehicles, doubling its year-over-year growth. Leapmotor is already present in countries such as Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Romania, France, Italy, Nepal, Thailand and a few others. The brand has four electric vehicles in its portfolio. There is T03, B10, C10 and C10 Reev. As of now, it is not confirmed which electric vehicle Leapmotor will bring to the Indian market. We will have to wait for some more time to get more information. The battery pack has a capacity of 37.3 kWh and can be charged from 30 per cent to 8-0 per cent in 36 minutes. The electric motor puts out around 95 hp and can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 12.7 seconds. The battery pack can be charged from 0 per cent to 80 per cent in 30 minutes. The electric motor on C10 produces around 215 bhp and can hit 100 kmph from a standstill in 7.5 seconds.
