SSEF organises "Prophet's Neighbors Endowment" in Kalba
This tour comes as part of the Foundation's commitment to spreading community awareness of its humanitarian mission and building bridges of cooperation with local institutions across the emirate. The strategic plan seeks to expand its impact and reach the largest possible number of community members. Commitment to society Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, stated, 'At the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, we strive to be close to all members of society in the various regions of the emirate. This first tour to the city of Kalba in the Eastern Region represents an important step in conveying our humanitarian message and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.' Importance of partnerships She expressed gratitude to the Roads and Transport Authority for its support and constructive cooperation, emphasizing the significance of attracting local communities to participate and expanding invitations to the emirate's citizens. Al Suwaidi highlighted that these visits are crucial for informing individuals about the Foundation's projects and its role in serving community members. Sharjah Social Empowerment conducts workshops as part of "Takhate"
The project aims to promote mental health, help children overcome the psychological trauma resulting from the loss of their parent, and empower them to adapt positively to life. Providing psychological first aid and promoting emotional independence The workshops targeted children between the ages of 6 and 18, and focused on developing coping skills, managing emotions, and building self-confidence by providing psychological first aid and promoting emotional independence within a safe environment that allows for dialogue and the free expression of feelings. Workshops have been designed in line with the latest studies in the field of supporting children affected by psychological trauma, taking into account their different needs according to their ages. Guidance sessions and interactive activities Workshops included guidance sessions and interactive activities presented by a number of psychological and social specialists, covering several topics such as: dealing with anxiety, promoting positive thinking, healthy emotional expression, and the art of managing social relationships, in addition to behaviour modification strategies and integrated psychological support. Nawal Al Hamdi, Director of the Social Welfare Department at the Foundation, said that the foundation continues to implement unique project, 'Takhate', through a series of workshops targeting the mental health of orphans, stemming from the foundation's deep belief in the importance of psychological and social balance in building their personalities and enhancing their ability to adapt. "Takhate" is a pivotal milestone in the empowerment journey, as the foundation goes beyond providing temporary support, but rather provides orphans with the tools they need to become healthy, positive, and psychologically stable individuals. Early psychological support Al Hamdi emphasised that early psychological support is the cornerstone of helping orphans overcome their loss, noting that the project stems from a comprehensive humanitarian vision that addresses their psychological and social needs. She added that the workshops received great interaction from the participants, who expressed their benefit from the practical tools that helped them understand their feelings and deal with life's challenges with greater confidence. Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation continues to provide comprehensive empowerment programmes, focusing on all their needs, particularly mental health, given its essential role in building a generation capable of challenging and succeeding.

SSEF organises "Food Production Projects" workshop
The workshop addressed the concept of a production project as an economic activity aimed at producing goods or services based on available resources. It focused on projects that specialise in converting food raw materials into ready-to-consumer products according to the highest quality and safety the workshop, the importance of producing safe food that is produced, stored, and transported in a manner that prevents contamination and preserves consumer health was addressed. Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority donates Dhs3 million to Prophet's Neighbours Endowment
Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) has announced that it has received a donation of over Dhs3 million from Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) for the Prophet's Neighbours Endowment project. This makes SEWA the first leading entity in the Emirate of Sharjah to contribute to this unique endowment project. The donation reflects the institutional response to the call of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to promote competition in charitable endeavors. The SSEF believes this donation represents the first good seed in the project's journey toward achieving its noble humanitarian goals. The endowment is a pioneering project that aims to build an integrated support system for orphans, enhancing their integration into society and opening up broader prospects for growth and self-reliance. It comes as part of SEWA's plan to fulfill its social responsibilities by supporting this segment of society and providing them with the necessary care to help them build a bright and stable future, he said.
