Woman's desperate plea to find the man who violently beat her unconscious in shocking attack at Aussie band's show
A young mother has made a desperate plea to find a man who beat her unconscious during a vicious attack at a concert over the weekend. Shelby Elston, 33, attended Rüfüs Du Sol's show at the Rose Bowl Stadium in California on Saturday, when a stranger attacked her. The horrific assault was caught on camera and showed the moment the unidentified man threw several punches at Shelby while another woman attempted to hold him back. The victim was seen sitting limp on the floor in the footage while her fiancé, Cain Webb, attempted to protect her. Shelby has now spoken out about the horrifying incident and urged the public's help to identify the man who allegedly attacked her. 'I need your help to find THIS MAN WHO ASSAULTED ME,' she said in a statement to Festive Owl. 'We were at the concert to see our favourite artist, but the night turned traumatic. When we first got to our seats, a drink was accidentally spilled, lightly splashing the man in front of us. 'We apologised immediately, but he yelled that it was intentional and ran off, leaving his companion behind. We apologised to her and thought it was over. Shelby said the man returned 30 minutes later and then 'punched her in the face'. 'About 30 minutes later, he returned, screamed at us, and threatened violence. I tried to calm the situation and apologised again,' she continued. 'And the next thing I remember, I woke up in the medical tent an hour later and missed the entire show. 'This man PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE, knocking me out and causing significant bleeding, while he continued attacking our group. Another friend tried to protect us, but the attacker fled into the crowd and hasn't been found. A police report was filed. 'We are traumatised. If anyone knows this man or his companion, PLEASE reach out. He should be held accountable for this assault.' Elston, who is based in Arizona, shared a statement via music outlet Festive Owl earlier this week, seeking the public's help to identify the man in the video as she shared what led to the alleged attack. 'We were at the concert to see our favorite (sic) artist, but the night turned traumatic,' Elston began. 'It's been a hectic two days but after going through my emails and messages, I believe this person is absolutely [name redacted],' she wrote. 'Charges will absolutely be filed and a civil lawsuit as well. I'm going to make this man PAY for what he did to me and my friends. Thank you to everyone for who reached out to me!' Meanwhile, Rufus Du Sol – comprising of Sydney trio Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt – released a statement on their official Instagram page declaring they were 'heartbroken' to learn of the incident. 'Delivering moments for our fans to gather and celebrate safely is what we live for,' the band shared on Instagram stories. 'We have been heart broken to hear of the act of violence that took place during the opening act on Saturday. This type of behavior (sic) is completely unacceptable anywhere and the fact that this happened at one of our shows was devastating to learn about. 'Local law enforcement are actively investigating the situation. Anyone with information to assist the investigation should please contact the Pasadena Police Department.'

Elston explained: 'As soon as we got into the venue ... (we) grabbed a drink and sat down in our seats in the stands. 'The boys ... went to the bathroom. When they came back Cain accidentally knocked his drink over that was sitting next to my leg and splashed a little bit onto that man in front of us. 'We immediately apologised, but this man started screaming in our face that we did it on purpose. 'He ran off into the crowd leaving his girlfriend behind. I was completely knocked out and there was blood pouring from my face. He continued to attack Cain while Ralph attempted to block him from the hits.'
