Yara Sameh Egyptian superstar, Sherine Abdel-Wahab will conclude this year's Mawazine Festival. Mawazine is a Moroccan international music festival that began in 2001 and is hosting its 20th edition this year. As one of the largest music festivals in the world, Mawazine attracts more than 2.5 million attendees each year. This year's Mawazine festival is scheduled to be held from June 20 to 28 in Rabat, Morocco. Sherine is set to perform at the festival's stage, Nahda, on June 28. Her first recorded song was released in 2002 as a part of an album that included works of other artists. The album was released, under the title 'Free Mix3: Tamer and Sherine' and was a big hit all across the entire Middle East and North Africa. Rotana Ordered to Pay EGP 2 Million Compensation to Sherine Abdelwahab

Sherine emphasized that she fully honoured her contractual obligations and had all songs ready for release. Mar 25, 2025 Rotana Ordered to Pay EGP two Million to Sherine Abdel-Wahab for Deleting Her Songs The Cairo Economic Court has ruled that Rotana must compensate Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel-Wahab with EGP two million for damages caused by the removal of two of her songs from YouTube and social media platforms. In a televised statement, Sherine explained that her contract with Rotana covered the production of 12 songs. While the second album was agreed upon by both parties, its release was not mandatory, nor was there a requirement for the album to be launched all at once. Instead, the company opted to release the songs as singles. She emphasized that she fully honoured her contractual obligations and had all songs ready for release. Despite this, Rotana allegedly sought to monopolize her live performances and refused to accept her songs to maintain control over her concert bookings—despite no contractual clause granting the company a share of her live performance revenues. In September 2024, amid her copyright battle with Rotana, Sherine made history as the first Arab artist to upload an entire album to WeTransfer, allowing fans to access it directly. The move was widely seen as a bold stand against restrictive music industry contracts. He confirmed that he was behind the most successful album in her career. اضافة اعلان These statements came after he previously announced that he had been suffering from borderline personality disorder following their separation. Talking about Sherine's album Nisai, Hossam described it as the most successful in her artistic history, noting that it wasn't registered under his name as a producer, despite it achieving 1.3 billion views on social media platforms, according to him. He added, "I didn't receive any financial compensation for producing the album. I had to sell my house and my car to support myself.
