Stellantis India has appointed Shishir Mishra as Business Head & Director for Strategic Partnerships and Institutional Business. In his new role, Mishra will lead critical verticals across the company's operations in India, including Institutional Sales, Strategic Alliances, Mobility Services, Pre-Owned Vehicles, and Finance & Insurance solutions for Stellantis' three core brands in the market— Citroën , Jeep , and Leapmotor . This move marks an expansion in Mishra's responsibilities at Stellantis, where he most recently served as Brand Director for Citroën India. Over the past year and a half, he has been closely associated with shaping Citroën's strategy and presence in India. Mishra joined Stellantis in 2018, originally as Director & Head of Partnerships for Finance & Insurance, and later played an instrumental role in aligning the group's sales and marketing synergies across brands. Prior to joining Stellantis, he held senior roles at Toyota Financial Services, HDFC ERGO, and ICICI Bank, bringing over two decades of experience in automotive finance, partnerships, and product strategy. The appointment comes at a time when Stellantis is working to strengthen its foothold in the Indian market through a multi-brand strategy, local manufacturing, and the planned introduction of electric vehicles under the Leapmotor brand.

The company says the factory-tested kits deliver mileage up to 28.1 km/kg. While bookings for the Citroen C3 CNG cannot be made online, interested buyers can get the kits installed at an additional price of ₹ 93,000 across authorised Citroën dealerships in the country. The Citroën C3 CNG aims to lower running costs and emissions, while maintaining the C3's comfort, performance, and distinctive style. Citroen C3 now available with brand-authorised CNG retrofitment option

Citroën India has announced the availability of a brand-authorised CNG retrofitment kit for its C3 hatchback. The retrofitment will be offered across authorised dealerships at an additional cost of ₹93,000, starting from the Live variant. The development is part of the company's strategy to provide lower-cost, fuel-efficient options for private and institutional customers. The CNG kit offers dual fuel flexibility with claimed mileage of up to 28.1 km/kg, aiming to reduce both tailpipe emissions and running costs. The vehicle allows switching between petrol and CNG, and Citroën claims a running cost of ₹2.66 per kilometre using CNG. The retrofitment is compatible with 1.2 NA variants of the C3, including Live, Feel, Feel(O), and Shine. The system includes factory-calibrated fuel management, redesigned rear suspension components, and integration of the CNG nozzle within the petrol filler port. The company will offer a 3-year/100,000 km warranty on the vehicle along with coverage for CNG components. Focus on fleet operators and growing CNG ecosystem The CNG-enabled C3 targets institutional and high-usage customers. The retrofitment process will follow certified protocols and include safety inspections such as leak detection and cylinder checks. The move comes as India's CNG infrastructure expands, with over 7,400 stations expected by FY25. New Delhi: Automaker Stellantis India on Monday announced changes in its senior leadership roles as part of an exercise to drive long-term business growth and efficiency, while also preparing the launch of Leapmotor vehicles in India. Under the new structure, Kumar Priyesh, Business Head & Director - Automotive Brands at Stellantis India, will be in charge of retail business, which includes sales and network development for the Jeep and Citroen brands as well as the soon-to-be-launched Leapmotor, the company said in a statement.
