Sabrina Carpenter ‘Arrests' TWICE Members at Lollapalooza Headlining Set: ‘Are You Guys Single?'

Sabrina Carpenter's signature 'Juno' arrest had TWICE the star power at Lollapalooza over the weekend. During her headlining set at the Chicago festival Sunday night (Aug. 3), the pop star gave the girl group's Momo, Jihyo and Sana a sweet shout-out while 'arresting' them for being beautiful. The playful faux arrests are a nightly tradition on Carpenter's Short n' Sweet Tour, which has previously seen the Grammy winner give handcuffs to everyone from Millie Bobby Brown to Salma Hayek before diving into 'Juno.' 'I was gonna say, 'cause I had to look not once, but twice.' 'Are you guys single, by chance?' continues the singer as Momo, Jihyo and Sana wave and blow kisses. 'Would you guys want to get married, maybe? If I were to give you these handcuffs, then I could marry all three of you, right?' Carpenter went on to perform fan-favorite 'Juno' from her Billboard 200-topping album Short n' Sweet, but not before blowing the three K-pop stars a kiss. The sweet interaction was just one of several memorable moments in the Girl Meets World alum's festival-closing set, with Carpenter also at one point performing 'Let's Groove' and 'September' with special guests Earth, Wind & Fire. TWICE and Carpenter go way back. In 2023, the latter presented the former with the Breakthrough Artist Award at that year's Billboard Women in Music Awards, where she gushed about her love for the girl group on the red carpet. 'I've been following them for quite a long time now,' she told Billboard at the time. 'I'm obsessed with them, I'm just a really huge fan. They're all so beautiful, they look like dolls. They're gorgeous.' Carpenter is now gearing up to release her new LP, Man's Best Friend, on Aug. 29. The project was led by Billboard Hot 100-topping single 'Manchild,' and just a couple of days prior to her Lolla set, the star unveiled the album's full tracklist. Sabrina Carpenter pays for $8,700-a-night villa stay in Tuscany as she unwinds after London gigs

Sabrina Carpenter has reportedly treated herself and her pals to a stay at a more than $8,700-a-night villa in Tuscany, Italy, following her hugely successful shows at London 's Hyde Park. The 26-year-old is currently in the middle of her gruelling Short n' Sweet Tour, which has included a European leg and will see her kick off a second North American leg next month. So it's little wonder she's made the most of her free time now, enjoying a stay at the 600-year-old Villa I Busini, according to The Sun. It's said that the seven-bedroom accommodation boasts a swimming pool, walled gardens and a private chef on hand to whip up a plethora of dishes for the singer and her friends. The pop star recently shared an Instagram post to give fans a glimpse of her Italian getaway, where she was snapped eating pasta and drinking wine while kicking back with her pals. In one image, she posed outside next to a large tree in a tiny white crop top and hot pants. As she bared her washboard abs to the camera, the singer appeared relaxed as she smiled softly in front of meticulously maintained vineyards. Other snaps showed her walking on a couch in a stunning red gown, eating a bowl of spaghetti al fresco, playing tennis with friends and sightseeing. Sabrina appeared to be having the time of her life as she enjoyed a spritz, played with a cat wandering outside and crouched on top of a built-in desk in a library. Her break in Europe comes just weeks before she is set to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 3. Her upcoming seventh studio album, Man's Best Friend, is set to be released on August 29, 2025. In October, she'll headline at Austin City Limits Music, before resuming her Short n' Sweet tour in Pittsburgh, not far from her hometown, Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The actress' final stops include New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles.

The Espresso hitmaker recently took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of her Italian getaway, where she was snapped eating pasta and drinking wine while kicking back with her pals. Clearly enjoying her break after jetting to the Italian region after wowing thousands at her BST Hyde Park shows, Sabrina looked happy and relaxed as she soaked up the sunshine. Many were outraged by the provocative visual and debated whether it was a feminist statement or simply for the male gaze. Sabrina's original album cover was called out by a leading domestic violence charity who accused her of 'reducing women to pets' in addition to various online commentators. In response, Carpenter released an alternative album cover 'approved by God.' The second cover was a black and white image of her holding onto a handsome man's arm in the middle of a crowded room. Last week, she unveiled a third album cover, which showed her surrounded by a bunch of roses while dressed in black lingerie and a sheer nightgown. For those concerned about the fate of her original cover, the record will still be available.

Sabrina Carpenter Is Living La Dolce Vita—With Vacation Style to Match

Following the globe-spanning Short n' Sweet tour and ahead of her forthcoming album, Man's Best Friend, Sabrina Carpenter is on a well-deserved vacation. The singer jetted off to Italy, where—to nobody's surprise—she brought a fabulous, La Dolce Vita-inspired wardrobe to match. For an itinerary that consisted of lounging on balconies, drinking goblet-sized spritzes, eating bowls of pasta, and petting stray cats, Carpenter brought along whimsical summer staples: minidresses, bikinis, bloomers, and matching sets galore. Like her tour wardrobe, the singer embraced a delicate color palette, mainly sticking to white, baby pink, and butter yellow, but every so often she punctuated her pastels with sporadic splashes of black and red. Courtesy of @sabrinacarpenter on Instagram Lightweight pieces were central to Carpenter's Euro summer wardrobe. (Because, when forgoing air conditioning…) See: the open knit off-the-shoulder long-sleeve she wore over a polka-dot bikini top, and the semi-sheer black and white minidress she paired with a black newsboy cap.

Sabrina Carpenter shows off her washboard abs in white hot pants while gallivanting around Italy

Sabrina Carpenter gave her 48.1 million Instagram followers a glimpse of how she is spending her time off from her Short n' Sweet Tour. Despite her demanding touring schedule, which included a European leg and, now, a second North American leg, the pop star, 26, managed to carve out time to let loose with her closest pals in Italy. On Wednesday morning, the Please Please Please hitmaker shared a slideshow full of memories on the road, including her stay at a Tuscan-style villa. In the first image, she posed outside next to a large tree in a tiny white crop top and hot pants. For those concerned about the fate of her original cover, the record will still be available. It's certainly not the first time Sabrina has faced controversy over her embrace of sex. The Espresso singer famously simulates sex positions while performing her song Juno during her Short n' Sweet Tour, but not everyone is a fan of the NSFW displays. 'It's always so funny to me when people complain,' she told Rolling Stone of her Juno moments. 'They're like, "All she does is sing about this." But those are the songs that you've made popular. Clearly you love sex. You're obsessed with it. 'It's in my show. There's so many more moments than the 'Juno' positions, but those are the ones you post every night and comment on. I can't control that. If you come to the show, you'll [also] hear the ballads, you'll hear the more introspective numbers. 'I find irony and humor in all of that, because it seems to be a recurring theme. I'm not upset about it, other than I feel mad pressure to be funny sometimes.' In a subsequent phone call with the magazine, the topic was broached again: 'I don't want to be pessimistic, but I truly feel like I've never lived in a time where women have been picked apart more, and scrutinized in every capacity. I'm not just talking about me. I'm talking about every female artist that is making art right now.' As the reporter noted that Swifties were taking photos outside of Taylor Swift's iconic Cornelia Street, Sabrina elaborated: 'That's what I'm saying.' 'We're in such a weird time where you would think it's girl power, and women supporting women, but in reality, the second you see a picture of someone wearing a dress on a carpet, you have to say everything mean about it in the first 30 seconds that you see it,' she continued. Sabrina even wrote a song hitting back at the criticism she's received online, Needless To Say, a vinyl-only bonus track for Short and Sweet. Some of the lyrics state: 'A pretty dress, an awkward angle/I bet you zoomed in close and held it up to show all of your friends.' 'It's something that keeps coming back,' Sabrina added. 'We just have to grow thicker skin, but they don't have to learn how to shut their mouths.'
