Not a typo! Get a queen Zinus memory foam mattress for just $177 in the Memorial Day sales
If somebody told me I could get a decent memory foam mattress for under $200 for a queen, I wouldn't believe them. But I've been proven wrong over the Memorial Day weekend. The Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam mattress is currently just $177 for a queen at Amazon, returning to its lowest price of the year. That's excellent value. Now, don't expect the kind of quality support you get from the top recommended beds in our best mattress guide. The Zinus is a budget model. But we still gave it 3.5/5 stars in our Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam review: you get strong motion isolation and pressure relief for the money, and it's by no means unsupportive, especially for side sleepers. This is one of the best deals we've seen in the Memorial Day mattress sales. It's well worth considering if you're on a tight budget. We're covering it and more in our Memorial Day mattress sales live blog. Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam mattress (queen): $219.98 now $177 at AmazonThis deal drops the Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam back to its lowest-ever price, making it even better value for money than usual. We were impressed with its pressure relief and motion isolation when we slept on it, and think it's a particularly good option for side sleepers — the memory foam cradles your hips, shoulders and knees well when you're on your side. However, back and stomach sleepers might need firmer support. The mattress has a simple three-layer foam design, and it's available in 8', 10' and 12' heights (we recommend 10" or higher for adults). It comes with a 10-year warranty. Overall, we were impressed with this budget mattress when we reviewed it. So much so, we added it into our best cheap mattress of the year guide. It has a classic soft, memory foam feel, which most side sleepers, especially lightweight sleepers, should find very comfortable. During our tests to assess how well it isolates motion, where we dropped a dumbbell from different distances and heights from a wine glass to mimic human movement, the glass didn't fall over once, indicating an excellent ability to prevent motion from travelling across the bed — good news for couples with restless partners. Our expert panel agreed that despite the 'green tea and charcoal infusions', this isn't necessarily a 'cooling mattress' — very hot sleepers would be better off investing in one of the best cooling mattresses instead. Heavier-weight sleepers, back sleepers and stomach sleepers would probably benefit from a firmer surface with a bit more support, and because of the soft feel, the edges felt weak. Our verdict? It's a great option for side sleepers on a budget, or to put in a guest room for occasional use. See our alternative below if you're a back or stomach sleeper on a budget. Siena Memory Foam mattress (queen): $278 at SienaThe Siena is an all-foam bed, like the Zinus, but it has a much firmer feel, making it more supportive for back and stomach sleepers. When we tested it during our Siena Memory Foam mattress review, we were surprised at the feel. While Siena rates it as 6.5 on the firmness scale (medium firm), we found it felt more like a 9 out of 10, making it too firm for most side sleepers. However, it offered excellent support. It also performed well for temperature regulation, motion isolation and edge support, making it a great all-rounder and one of our best memory foam mattresses. Amazon is running an excellent deal on it right now, with a queen size 10" Siena discounted to $279 – that matches the cheapest price we saw during Black Friday. You get a 180-night trial, 10-year warranty and free shipping and returns too.

At just $278 for a queen this memory foam mattress deal is a stone cold Memorial Day bargain
While it's easy to feel like finding a cheap mattress is impossible, there are plenty of budget options that can provide you with plenty of comfort and support. And we think we've found the ultimate deal: 25% off the Siena Gel Memory Foam mattress at Amazon, meaning a queen is now just $278 (was $349). That's incredible value. And this isn't just a 'cheap' mattress. We've actually included it in our guide to the best mattresses of the year that we've tried and tested. After sleeping on the Siena Memory Foam, we were impressed by pretty much everything, from pressure relief and support to temperature regulation and motion isolation. This is the lowest price we've ever seen for this memory foam bed, making it one of the top Memorial Day mattress sales we've seen so far. We recommend you take advantage of it as soon as possible, as we don't know how long it'll stick around for. Here's what you need to know. Siena Gel Memory Foam Mattress (10"): twin was $199 now $158 at AmazonThe Siena earned the top spot in our best cheap mattresses guide, simply because it is an excellent value purchase for the money you pay. This three-layered all foam bed is ideal for back and stomach sleepers, since our testers rated it a 9 out of 10 on the firmness scale in the Siena Memory Foam mattress review. The testing panel were also fairly impressed by its temperature regulation, which even kept the hot sleepers in the team cool and comfortable during a Mid-Atlantic summer. The current Siena Amazon Store deal is the lowest price we have seen on the mattress (compared to the $359 for a queen on the official website). The mattress sale drops the price of a twin bed from $199 to $158 while a queen is priced at $278 (was $349). This also includes Siena's usual benefits such as the 180-night trial and 10-year warranty. Our review: ★★★★User score: ★★★★½ (3K+ reviews) Like all of our top picks in this year's best mattresses for couples, the Siena scored well in our objective tests for both motion isolation and edge support. This means that you're unlikely to feel movement travel across the bed, making it a fantastic options for bed sharers and restless sleepers. And considering this is the best Siena mattress sale we've seen, we recommend taking advantage of it. We would say this mattress might be a little too firm for side sleepers, with our expert panel feeling like it lacked the necessary 'give' around the shoulders, hips and knees. So, if you're looking for one of the best mattresses for side sleepers on a budget, consider the Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam mattress instead for a much softer feel. Or you can choose one of our best mattress toppers to make your new Siena bed more cushioning and plush.
