Sahara : Drone strike by Moroccan forces kills Polisario commander
According to consistent sources, the «Commander of the Sixth Military Region» in the Polisario militia, Mustafa Ould Mohammed Laroussi, was killed on Thursday in a drone strike carried out by the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces near the Mahbes area. The same strike also resulted in the death of another Polisario member, Ouba Wambark Ould Add, as reported by social media pages affiliated with the separatist front. In a related development, the First Secretary of the «Sahrawis for Peace» movement, Hajj Ahmed Barikla, sent a message on Thursday to the UN envoy to Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura, urging him to intervene to «stop the senseless war that the Sahrawis are paying the price for». In his message, Hajj Ahmed wrote: «We cannot abandon the belief in the possibility of achieving peace, nor accept that war is an inevitable fate. Therefore, I will not cease to appeal to your moral authority for urgent intervention, to prevent an increase in the number of widows and orphans in Western Sahara as a result of a futile war».

Radio Saada concludes sixth "Martyr of the Qur'an" competition
Sa'ada - Saba: Sa'ada Local Radio concluded its annual Ramadan competition "Martyr of the Quran" by memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran, which was dedicated to the children of martyrs in its sixth consecutive season. At the closing ceremony, Saada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad praised the efforts made to support the children of the martyrs, stressing the importance of caring for and educating them, especially in the field of memorizing the Holy Quran. For his part, the director of the radio Abdul Razzaq Al-Razhi explained that the competition lasted throughout the month of Ramadan with the participation of dozens of contestants from various directorates of the governorate, and two of them qualified for the final qualifiers. Results: - First place: Bader Al-Hatfi (received a cash prize and an automatic weapon provided by the Sixth Military Region). - Second place: Amin Al-Awsji (cash prize from the radio). Funeral Procession for Group of Martyrs of Nation & Armed Forces in Sana'a
Sana'a - Saba: Today, a solemn funeral procession was held in Sana'a for the bodies of a group of martyrs of the nation and the armed forces who were martyred in the battle of "The Clear Conquest and Sacred Jihad." The bodies of the following martyrs were mourned: - Major Ali Mohammed Miad - Major Saif Mohammed Majli - Major Younis Zaid Al-Shami - First Lieutenant Ali Muqbil Jaradah - Second Lieutenant Mohammed Khaled Al-Hamdani - Second Lieutenant Yahya Ahmed Naeem - Second Lieutenant Hamza Mohammed Al-Mutawakil - Second Lieutenant Youssef Abdulwahab Mutahar - Second Lieutenant Zakaria Yahya Al-Sabri - Assistant Suhail Sanan Saadan Official funeral ceremonies were held for the martyrs, attended by the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Abdullah Al-Amir, the Head of Operations for the Sixth Military Region, Brigadier General Ali Al-Aqil, the Directors of the Human Resources Evaluation Department, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Salah, and the Legal Affairs Department, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Adheemah, the Deputy Director of the Retirement Department, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Husseini, as well as social figures, colleagues, and relatives of the martyrs. The funeral ceremonies took place after prayers for the martyrs at the People's Mosque in the Capital Secretariat, after which they were laid to rest in their respective hometowns. Engineer Murgham praised the heroic efforts and sacrifices of the army in defending the nation, highlighting their achievements on various fronts.
