Abou El-Enein: Investors can benefit from many projects in Africa
Basant Ahmed TV presenter Ahmed Moussa shed light on the speech of Parliament deputy speaker MP Mohamed Abou El Enein at Sixth QINGDAO Multinationals Summit in China, during "On My Responsibility" program, broadcast on Sada El Balad satellite channel. Abou El-Enein stressed that foreign investors can benefit from many projects in Africa. He noted that the free trade agreement among Europe, Egypt, and Africa benefits nearly 2 billion people, commenting: "Foreign companies can enjoy the same privileges as local companies." MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein explained that the Egyptian state is working on expanding urban space to 20% of the total area, while providing facilities to increase international trade, especially in ports. He added that Egypt welcomes all investors in technologies, hydrogen, the green economy, and artificial intelligence products. 'I am pleased to inform you that Egypt is safe, and this is a good opportunity for foreign investors to add value to leading projects in China," the Parliament deputy speaker stressed. He pointed out that Egypt has huge discoveries, such as copper and some other minerals, adding: "The international company Eni has invested $13 billion in discoveries in Egypt. Abou El-Enein: Egypt is the gateway for green industries in Africa, Middle East
Basant Ahmed Parliament deputy speaker MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, stressed that Egypt represents a global investment and export platform thanks to its geographical location and extensive trade agreements. He pointed out that the Egyptian state, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, is opening its arms to strong economic partnerships with the world, especially with China, in order to build a developed and prosperous industrial future. During his speech at Sixth QINGDAO Multinationals Summit in China, Abou El-Enein said: "I am pleased to represent Egypt, the African continent, and the Middle East at this global economic forum, which constitutes an important platform for exchanging visions and building partnerships." He pointed out that the partnership between Egypt and China represents a model for cooperation based on common interests and maximizing added value, stressing that the Egyptian and Chinese civilizations meet today for an advanced industrial and economic future, especially in the fields of technology and renewable energy. The Parliament deputy speaker added: "Egypt has free trade agreements with 54 African countries and 27 European countries, making it an ideal hub for production and export to a market of more than 2 billion consumers." Abou El-Enein: Chinese investments in Egypt reached $8 billion
Basant Ahmed Parliament Deputy Speaker MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein, emphasized that the Middle East represents the future of global investment, pointing out to its unique geographic location and promising economic potential. He noted that Egypt welcomes Chinese companies and opens its doors to future industries. During Abou El-Enein's speech at Sixth QINGDAO Multinationals Summit in China, Abou El-Enein said that Egypt has established specialized industrial cities that have implemented more than 200 development projects. He also said that Egypt hosts Chinese investments estimated at $8 billion, and includes 3,000 Chinese factories and universities. He emphasized that Cairo is ready to receive more investors. Moreover, he added that Egypt represents the Middle East and Africa's gateway to Europe, offering a duty-free industrial zone just an hour from the European continent and providing access to a regional market of approximately 2 billion people. The Parliament deputy speaker also criticized US customs restrictions on Chinese products, noting that Arab countries represent a privileged outlet for Chinese exports, with a customs exemption rate of up to 10%. His remarks came during a press conference held on the sidelines of the Sixth QINGDAO Multinationals Summit in China. Abou El-Enein noted that China is delivering massive projects across the African continent and in Egypt, describing the bilateral relations between the two nations as strong and cordial.
