M-E's Lewis named CAA Pitcher of the Week for Monmouth
WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ (WIVT/WBGH) – The Coastal Athletic Association announced Tuesday afternoon that former Maine-Endwell Spartan Olivia Lewis was named Softball Pitcher of the Week.
Lewis shined in the circle during Monmouth's weekend sweep at North Carolina A&T, securing the first 3-0 start for the Hawks since joining the league. She finished the weekend with a 1-0 record, pitching 10.1 innings and allowing only 2 earned runs.
She recorded a complete game shutout in Friday's game.
The team is next in action for a 3-game series starting Friday against Drexel.
