Tragic new details of Sophia Hutchins' sudden death revealed after she plunged down cliff in horrific ATV accident
TRAGIC new details have emerged about the sudden death of Sophia Hutchins, who plunged off a cliff in an ATV accident. Caitlyn Jenner's manager and close friend was just 29 when she fell to her death in a secluded area of Los Angeles on Wednesday morning around 11:30 am, according to the L.A. Sheriff's Department. 5 5 The accident happened on Decker Canyon Road, a public roadway, about a mile north of the Pacific Coast Highway. The accident happened near Caitlyn's $3.5 million Malibu home. The 911 call was placed around 11:30 am on July 2, and Sophia was pronounced dead at the scene. The local Malibu sheriff exclusively told The U.S. Sun that they had to use drones to help locate Sophia's body after her ATV struck another vehicle on the roadway above. "Our search and rescue responded from the station and we were able to find the location using our drones," the sheriff's officer explained. "We have a drone program here at the station. "So we had a drone go down there and search for the collision and and then we sent our search and rescue down to try and rescue the driver of the Polaris." They explained, however, that the rescue turned into a recovery when they found the Kardashian-Jenner family friend dead at the scene. The officer said they believed the 911 call was placed either by the driver of the other vehicle or a passerby. "Sophia was driving the 2013 Polaris when she collided with the rear bumper of party two, which was also traveling southbound, so she was going faster than the other party," according to law enforcement. "The force of the collision caused party one's vehicle, the Polaris, to veer to the right and over the cliff side, traveling 350 feet down to the ravine below," they added. "Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and determined that the driver of the Polaris was deceased." "Party two and her passenger were not injured in the collision. "There's no evidence of intoxication on either party at this point in time. "We don't have any definitive evidence of any of that, and we are waiting for bloodwork." The officer also explained that the road is public, but not as popular as some of the other streets in the area. "It's not as well-traveled as Malibu Canyon Road, but it is one of the routes people use to go toward the beach." SOPHIA & CAITLYN'S SPECIAL BOND Caitlyn, 75, has yet to comment on the tragedy. Just weeks before her passing, Sophia expressed her love for Caitlyn in response to a photo of the Olympian praying in Jerusalem, Israel. Sophia, the founder of Lumasol, shared an incredibly close bond with Caitlyn. They lived together and were introduced through a makeup artist. Sophia became Caitlyn's manager in 2017 and resided in the former Olympic gold medalist's home. Their close relationship and living arrangement sparked rumors that they were romantically involved, which Sophia denied in a 2019 interview with The New York Times. She clarified that her role was simply filling the void left by Caitlyn's manager ex-wife, Kris Jenner. She said at the time: 'I saw nobody was managing her, and there were all these people taking massive advantage." 'And I was saying, 'Caitlyn, if I don't step in here and start managing you, you're going to go broke'." Caitlyn's publicist told the outlet of Sophia: "She is one of the top minds in her field." In April 2015, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, publicly came out as a transgender woman and began her transition. Caitlyn was married to Kris, the mother of Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, from 1991 until their divorce in 2015. Sophia appeared on Caitlyn's reality TV show I Am Cait, which documented the star's transition journey. She also supported Caitlyn during her appearance on the British series I'm a Me Out of Here, where Caitlyn finished in sixth place in the 2019 season. In 2021, Sophia dismissed rumors of a romantic relationship with Caitlyn, calling them "fake news." 'Love the whole LGBT community but so tired of rumors that I am romantically with Caitlyn,' she said on social media. 'I am only ever with men and only ever have been. Stop the rumors! It's been years." Meanwhile, Caitlyn told The Sunday Times in 2023 she was very much single. 'I'm not even close to looking for a relationship,' she said. Sophia credited Caitlyn's transition journey with giving her the courage to do the same. Sophia said watching Caitlyn's 20/20 interview"made it so much more real... like normal and successful people do this and people are okay when they do it." FINAL APPEARANCES The close friends often attended high-profile events together, including the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Sophia served as a surrogate for Donald Trump's campaign. She frequently appeared on Fox News, criticizing Kamala Harris and the Democrats' policy proposals. Caitlyn also had a brief stint in politics, running unsuccessfully for governor of California during the recall election in September 2021. In February 2024, in one of her last photos posted to Instagram, she was seen beaming in a picture with then-candidate Trump. 5 5 5

Tragic Sophia Hutchins and Caitlyn Jenner's meet with transgender heir Nats Getty and Gigi Gorgeous resurfaces
A 2018 photo of the late Sophia Hutchins with her friends has resurfaced following her tragic death at age 29. The picture shows Sophia enjoying a pool day with Caitlyn Jenner, Nats Getty, and Gigi Gorgeous. 'Impromptu pool days are the bestest,' Sophia captioned the post. 'Next time we are coming to your house.' The snap appears to now have been taken down from her account, but is still visible on Gigi's Instagram. 'Gorgeous sunset tonight,' she captioned the post. The photo was shared four months after Gigi and Nats became engaged, before tying the knot in Montecito, California in 2019. They announced their divorce earlier this week. Getty and Gorgeous, who wed at Rosewood Miramar Beach, have both publicly announced they are transgender. The beauty vlogger Gorgeous came out as a transgender woman in 2013 and legally changed her name to Gigi Loren Lazzarato the following year. Getty in 2021 said on social media, 'I stand proudly as a trans man. It feels right to finally publicly say my pronouns are he/him. It's not the only time the four hung out, with the group also taking a snap together at a Saks Fifth Avenue and Vanity Fair event in 2018. Hutchins posted the photo at the time with four crown emojis in the caption. It was revealed Thursday that Hutchins died aged 29 after she plunged 350ft down a cliff near the reality star's Malibu home. It is believed that her ATV struck the bumper of a moving car and was thrown down a ravine. First responders pronounced Hutchins dead at the scene. The two individuals in the car struck by Hutchins and the ATV were not injured. At the time of writing, it is not yet known if Caitlyn witnessed Hutchins' crash or was at home at the time of the tragedy on Wednesday. In the hours that have followed the news of Hutchins' shock death, social media users have inundated Caitlyn with condolences. Commenting underneath a picture of the former Olympian's L'Équipe magazine cover from July 2024, which is pinned to the top of her Instagram profile, one said: 'I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one Sophia.' 'Very, very, very sorry for your loss,' added another. A third wrote: 'Sorry to hear about Sophia. She was too young to go.' Echoing a similar sentiment, another said: 'Deepest condolences to you and all the families of Sophia.' 'My heart is hurting for you right now!' a fifth continued. 'Hugs and prayers.' Hutchins, like Caitlyn, was transgender and cited her as the inspiration for coming out in college back in 2016. In 2017, she moved into Jenner's $3.5 million Malibu mansion and began working as the star's manager, taking over the role from Jenner's ex-wife Kris Jenner, 69, after their 2015 divorce. Hutchins was Jenner's confidant for over a decade after the celebrated Olympian, 75, came out as a transgender woman in 2015. She met Caitlyn that year and appeared in multiple episodes of the television documentary series I Am Cait, a spin-off of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Despite living under one roof, Hutchins previously told The New York Times that they 'were never romantically involved,' insisting it was all about work and friendship. 'Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,' she said. In 2020, Hutchins posed for an online ad campaign for Kim Kardashian's highly successful clothing line SKIMS. She was particularly close to Kris Jenner, speaking to her regularly, and also had a good relationship with Jenner's daughters Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27. The siblings once gave Hutchins a stunning heart-shaped diamond necklace for Christmas. 'I'm on good terms with all the family, but I'm closest with Kris, Kim, Kylie and Kendall', she said. Hutchins' last public appearance with Caitlyn was in 2024 when she accompanied the reality star to the April 2024 White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. Like Caitlyn, Hutchins was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. Last year, Hutchins had the opportunity to meet the billionaire. At the time, she uploaded a photo of herself beaming beside Trump in front of an American flag with the caption: 'The energy, passion, and commitment for our movement to Save America has never been greater! We will never give up.' In January of this year, Hutchins uploaded a photo of herself and Jenner celebrating Trump's inauguration with Judge Jeanine Pirro and other MAGA superstars to Instagram. Hutchins wasn't very active on social media in recent months. She last posted what would be her final Instagram post in April and showed fans a broken candelabra that had been repaired.

How Sophia Hutchins was inspired by Caitlyn Jenner's transgender journey before her shock death in ATV wreck
Caitlyn Jenner's close friend and manager Sophia Hutchins passed away on Wednesday at the age of 29 following a tragic ATV accident in Malibu. Both law enforcement and family sources stated she was pronounced dead at the scene after the ATV hit the bumper of another moving vehicle - causing it to 'plummet 350 feet down into a ravine' near the reality star's home. It has not been revealed if Jenner was at home at the time of the accident or witnessed the crash. Hutchins had notably developed a longtime friendship with Caitlyn years earlier - and also underwent her own transgender journey while a student at Pepperdine University. The pair first crossed paths a decade ago in 2015, and Sophia has often credited the ex of Kris Jenner as an inspiration to complete her transition. Similar to Caitlyn, Hutchins had been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and MAGA - and met the U.S. president last year. takes a look at Sophia's transgender journey, relationship with Jenner and support of Trump following her heartbreaking death. Sophia was born Scott Hutchins and began her transition while attending college - but previously revealed that she had identified as female at a young age. As a student at Pepperdine, she began to undergo certain medical procedures as well as hormone treatments and hair removal. The businesswoman had seen a therapist - who helped aid in the decision to transition but seeing Jenner's 20/20 interview where the star announced her own transition put everything into full swing. During an interview with her school newspaper in 2016, Hutchins reflected, 'I've always had the question of "Do I want to transition from male to female?" 'I never thought a lot about doing it until I got into college because I was able to break away from my family and started to establish my own identity.' She had also given credit to her time at school 'to deal with a lot of issues that had always been there.' And after watching Caitlyn's interview, Sophia explained that it, 'made it so much more real for her, like normal and successful people do this and people are okay when they do it.' Hutchins ended up taking some time off of school in order to complete her gender transition. When she was at the age of 15, Hutchins remembered telling a friend that she was female for the first time. 'It's almost like it just came out. I didn't even mean to let it out since I had been so used to holding it in and brushing it under the rug.' In 2019 during an appearance on Jim Breslo's Hidden Truth Show, Sophia also got candid about her gender identity. The media personality remembered making comments about her gender dysmorphia to her parents as young as age five. After her transition, Hutchins stated, 'I truly feel my spirit, my soul, my mind is exactly the same, I am just so much more comfortable physically. 'Before I transitioned I felt like "Yeah, I'm definitely just a girl, but I'm in the wrong body." And I felt trapped in that body.' She added, 'And I needed to have the hormones to change the body, for me, the surgeries to change the body. 'But for me, that's what I wanted to do, and that's what made me ultimately so at peace.' While at Pepperdine, Hutchins was the chair of the LGBTQ+ committee in SGA and a member of the school's first LGBTQ+ club Crossroads. She had also been the former CEO of the nonprofit organization called the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation. It helps 'promote equality and combats discrimination by providing grans to organizations that empower and improv the lives of transgender people, including youth, ant-bullying, suicide prevention, healthcare, housing, employment, and related programs,' according to the official website. Sophia first met Caitlyn in 2015 and two years later, moved into Jenner's $3.5million Malibu mansion and began working as the star's manager. She took over the role from Caitlyn's ex-wife Kris Jenner, 69, after their 2015 divorce. Hutchins often appeared on Jenner's E! reality series I Am Cait, which was a spin-off of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that followed the star's transition. The series ran for just two seasons but it gave glimpses into Jenner and Hutchins' unorthodox life together. Despite living under one roof, Hutchins previously told The New York Times that she and Jenner 'were never romantically involved' with each other - a sentiment that pair have repeated over the years. 'I don't feel a need to address my sex life, quite frankly, unless I want to,' she sternly told the outlet at the time. During an interview with People in 2021, Sophia discussed being able to collaborate with Jenner and said, 'I feel blessed that we are able to work together.' As for her own business ventures, Hutchins served as CEO of the now-defunct spray sunscreen brand LUMASOL, which launched in 2020 and was promoted by Jenner's stepdaughter Kim Kardashian. While it's unclear when she met Jenner, Hutchins began appearing by her side in 2015 shortly after she went public with her shock transition. They reportedly were introduced by their hairdresser, and they developed a strong friendship. The pair have spent holidays together and also appeared at red carpet events. But because of their tight bond, the duo faced intense dating speculation during their over a decade of friendship. Back in 2018, Hutchins fueled the flames by previously described Jenner as her 'partner' and even admitted that they were 'inseparable'. 'I wouldn't describe it as romantic. I would describe it as we're partners, business partners – I'm the executive director of her foundation,' Hutchins dished on an episode of The Hidden Truth Show podcast. However, both Jenner and Hutchins have made a conscious effort to publicly shut down the romance rumors. In 2021, Hutchins told People that she was not and had never been interested in starting a romantic relationship with her longtime friend. 'I don't want controversy. I am just trying to live my life. Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,' she said. 'There's no hanky panky,' she insisted. 'I feel like I've been saying that for the past five years.' Jenner, who was married three times when she was known as Bruce Jenner before transitioning, described herself as 'very single' while attending the White House Correspondent Dinner with Hutchins last year. Hutchins previously addressed allegations that she was 'mooching off' Caitlyn during a 2019 appearance on Good Morning Britain. 'Everyone thinks I'm mooching off Caitlyn but I do have my own job and my own career that I have to focus on,' she told viewers during the sit-down. In the same interview, Hutchins praised Jenner as being 'one of the most selfless people you will ever meet.' Sophia has also publicly voiced her support for Donald Trump over the years - and has often posed with a MAGA hat on social media. Late last year in November, she shared photos from what appeared to be Trump's Mar-a-Lago in Florida on election night. At the time, she penned: 'Election Night w/ 500 of my closest friends! A true love fest! Don't think anyone slept for 48 hours!' Hutchins could be seen posing with a few friends at a table inside a crowded room - and Jenner was spotted sitting nearby. Last year, Hutchins had the opportunity to meet the billionaire. She uploaded a photo of herself beaming beside Trump in front of an American flag with the caption: 'The energy, passion, and commitment for our movement to Save America has never been greater! We will never give up.' In January of this year, Hutchins uploaded a photo of herself and Jenner celebrating Trump's inauguration with Judge Jeanine Pirro and other MAGA superstars to Instagram. Sophia also made appearances in segments for Fox News - which she shared to her Instagram page. Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Hutchins could be seen interviewing on the network under the title of 'Trump 2024 Campaign Surrogate.' She also was open with her social media followers about casting her vote for Trump during last year's U.S. presidential election. Sophia had uploaded other snippets from election night, and wrote: 'It's been a wild ride. From the convention & inauguration in 2016, to 2020, to the most insane campaign in US history in 2024, I love this family as if they were my own. 'I will keep fighting for America in any way I am told - we've made it this far and I don't plan on stopping, only speeding up.' Hutchins concluded, 'There is no team of people, led by the man himself, The 47th POTUS @realdonaldtrump I would want to do it with! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!'
