Since launching in 2014, the brand has become known for its 14-inch pies, laid-back interiors and great tunes. Bosses even launched a "Sopranos-themed" diner last year. Time Out Magazine previously said Civerinos pizza served up "some of the best slices you'll ever shove down your gob". Raving over the delicious scran, professionals praised its "chewy crusts" and delicious "sweet-but-tangy marinara sauce". Meanwhile, Deliveroo's Independent Restaurant of the Year 2025 has been won by CRUNCH from London after the five regional finalists, including Big Mannys' Pizza from Scotland, battled it out at a cook-off held at Deliveroo Editions in London. Sopranos-themed pizzeria offers free pizza for a year to anyone who ID's failed burglars
LOCKPORT, Ill. (WGN) — A Sopranos-themed pizzeria in the far southwest suburbs is offering free pizza for a year to anyone who can help them identify a group of burglars that tried to break into their business early Wednesday morning. Channeling their inner Italian through a Facebook post, Sopranos Pizzeria & Catering in Lockport said they are offering free pizza for a year to anyone who can help them identify three would-be burglars who failed to break the glass in their front windows around 3:30 a.m. The attempted burglary was caught on security cameras outside the pizzeria. Sopranos also posted dashcam footage from a passerby who saw the burglars drive away and followed them to capture the getaway car on video. The description of the suspects and their vehicle from the Facebook post is as follows: 'Yeah… they showed up around 3:28 AM in a silver car, hoodies up, thinkin' they were in Goodfellas or somethin'. Newsflash, boys—this ain't Hollywood. This is Lockport, and you just messed with the wrong slice of town. 'They strutted up like tough guys, threw some punches at the glass, then took off like scared little meatballs when the alarm went off. Real intimidating. 'Enter Rocky—no, not that Rocky, but close enough. A local legend from Lockport with a dash cam and a conscience. He spotted the getaway and followed these mozzarella-brained bandits down the block. Give this man a cannoli and a handshake. 'We've got the footage. We've got the screenshots. Now we want names. 'Help us ID these crumb bums, and you'll be eating on the house for a whole year. That's 52 Fridays of extra cheese, no questions asked. 'Share this post. Spread the word. And to the perps—next time you wanna act tough, maybe try not doing it in front of Camera 01. 'Capisce?'
