(Video) SEVENTEEN's Joshua, DK, & Dino Confirm Visit To Malaysia For Upcoming Mister Potato Event
Fans never tire of hearing exciting news about their favourite K-pop idols coming to Malaysia for concerts, fan meetings, or special appearances at brand events. We're only halfway through 2025, and the list of stars set to visit our shores is constantly being updated. Joining the list are three members of a popular boy group. Recently, Mister Potato Malaysia shared a photo featuring the silhouettes of three male idols, teasing K-pop fans with the news that they'll be making their way to Kuala Lumpur for a special appearance. Many made their guesses on who they could be, and it seems that the majority are correct! Last week, Mister Potato Malaysia announced their Jinjja Crunch collaboration with SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) members Joshua, DK, and Dino. The announcement video features the idols posing with three different flavours of the popular snack; Original, BBQ and Sour Cream & Onion. While an official statement regarding their visit to Malaysia has yet to be confirmed, the singers themselves appeared to spoil the surprise by posting a behind-the-scenes vlog of them filming promotional content for the brand. In the video posted yesterday (Tuesday, 22nd July), the members can be heard excitedly announcing that they'll be coming to Malaysia soon. 'We have 진짜 exciting news for you guys. We love you, Mister Potato! See you in Malaysia!' they said in the vlog. That particular moment quickly went viral among Malaysian fans, with many expressing their excitement about the visit. Some commented on how surprised they were to hear the news directly from the members before the brand had made an official announcement. Others are hoping that the upcoming event will be held at a larger venue, rather than a shopping centre, to accommodate not only meet-and-greet winners but also other fans who wish to see them in person. However, Joshua, DK, and Dino were not the first to spoil the surprise as MAMEE-Double Decker Group CEO, Mr. Pierre Pang, previously posted on his IG Story about the event when the brand first teased about the collab. At the time of writing, Mister Potato has yet to make the official announcement about the upcoming event with the 3 SEVENTEEN members. You can now drink pepperoni martinis at this NYC pizza joint
The era of foodie martinis seemingly continues: In a vodka-splashed town that already boasts Caesar salad martinis (at Shy Shy), garlic bread-inspired tipples (at San Sabino), pepperoncini-zipped quaffs (at Bad Roman) and a dill-infused Sour Cream & Onion creation (at Corner Store), we now have a 'tini inspired by your favorite pizza topping, pepperoni. Yes, beginning on Thursday, May 22, Stretch Pizza (331 Park Ave S) will debut a Pepperoni Martini made with the restaurant's own bespoke spirit Enzo Empirical, as well as fennel liqueur and hot date syrup—giving the cocktail classic pizza -y tasting notes of fennel and pepperoni spice—and, of course, a garnish of zesty pepperoni slices. The savory sipper will set you back $18 a pop, joining a creative drink program that also includes an on-tap spritz (made with Mommenpop Blood Orange, Stellare aperitivo and orangecello). It's actually not the first time that Stretch Pizza—which is a collaboration between molecular gastronomy great Wylie Dufresne (formerly of wd~50 and Du's Donuts) and Breads Bakery founder Gadi Peleg—has experimented with pepperoni in cocktail form: the Flatiron District restaurant has previously served a Pepperoni Bloody Mary (vodka infused with the spicy, savory warmth of pepperoni and garnished with slices of the titular salami) alongside its Everything Bagel and Shakshuka-inspired pizzas during brunchtime. Given the madcap culinary bonafides of its chef (Dufresne famously pushed the boundaries of fine-dining cuisine, frying Hollandaise cubes for eggs Benedict, using xanthan gum with konjac flour to make faux foie gras, and cooking shrimp and grits where the crustacean itself was ground into coarse, corn-like kernels), a pepperoni martini isn't that far-fetched of a cocktail order.
