'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Gets New Season 3 Trailer
For a while, Paramount kept Star Trek fans in the dark about when the next season of Strange New Worlds would grace their TV screens. Now that we know it's coming back in a month, it's time we get an idea of what the U.S.S. Enterprise will be up to, and this latest trailer does not disappoint. Scenes featured in the trailer include Spock doing science with Nurses Chapel and M'benga, Uhura flirting with Ortegas' brother (and at a dance party, no less!), the crew preventing an invasion, and by extension, Kirk getting to captain the Enterprise in Pike's stead. These new adventures come after Pike's chosen to save his crew left behind on the Gorn ship at the end of season two, and while most of it looks like a fun time, the synopsis teases 'new life and civilizations, including a villain that will test our characters' grit and resolve.' Never a dull moment for the Enterprise crew, or for Strange New Worlds fans. Earlier this week, Paramount unveiled the season's episode titles, which are as follows: Hegemony, Part II Wedding Bell Blues Shuttle to Kenfori A Space Adventure Hour Through the Lens of Time The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail What Is Starfleet? Four-and-a-Half Vulcans Terrarium New Life and New Civilizations The good news is, they won't have to wait on pins and needles wondering if the show will go on, since it's getting a fourth season that's currently filming. Strange New Worlds returns to Paramount+ on July 17 with 'Hegemony, Part II' and 'Wedding Bell Blues,' followed by new episodes every Thursday through September 11.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds returns on July 17
The third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds finally drops on July 17. It's been around two years since the Paramount+ exclusive was last on the air. It's a two-episode premiere, so that's something. We've already gotten a juicy trailer for the upcoming season and Paramount+ just unveiled a cool poster to advertise the release date. It shows all of the main characters wandering through, well, a strange new world. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. For the uninitiated, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the USS Enterprise. This is the very same Enterprise that will one day be captained by James Kirk. It's a prequel, so there are new actors playing franchise legends like Spock, Uhura and Nurse Chapel. Of course, as the show gets closer to the events of The Original Series , more familiar characters have been popping up. Kirk has been all over the place and the same goes for Scotty. We've even gotten Sybok, Spock's half-brother who will one day lead the crew on a search to find God in the critically-reviled Star Trek V: The Final Frontier . To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. It's a neat show, with a mystery-of-the-week format that recalls classic Trek. Season two ended on a cliffhanger, so it'll be interesting to see how that shakes out. Season three of Strange New Worlds looks to include a visit to the 1960s version of Star Trek, complete with period-accurate costumes and sets, and a murder-mystery set in the Holodeck (or something similar.)

So good he's ended up voicing Shaggy in lots of further adaptations of Scooby Doo. 10. "Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly." 11. "Jack Gleeson as Joffrey in Game of Thrones.
