Chart-VRV extends support to local school
Sri City: The Sri City based Chart–VRV India Pvt. Ltd., upgraded facilities at the Government Primary School, Nagananadapuram, Varadaiahpalem mandal, under its CSR initiative. The Rs 31-lakh project included a new classroom building, completion of toilets and kitchen, a compound wall, greenery, and painting of the entire school building. Sri City Foundation coordinated this project. The new facilities were inaugurated on Wednesday by Managing Director of the company Parvesh Mittal and Director (HR) Yamini Sinha in the presence of Director (CSR), Sri City Nireesha Sannareddy. Among those present were VRV's HR Manager, Kandaswami and Varadaiahpalem MEO-2 Gunnayya. Speaking on the occasion, Parvesh Mittal reaffirmed their commitment to improving the infrastructure of government schools and other educational institutions in the surrounding areas of Sri City. Nireesha Sannareddy said that active participation of industries, together with Sri City's special initiatives, has brought remarkable improvement in government educational facilities in the region.

Aisan Auto provides infra to high school, Anganwadi centre
Sri City: Aisan Auto Parts India Pvt. Ltd., a leading Japanese automotive components manufacturer based in Sri City, in partnership with Sri City Foundation, has successfully executed key infrastructure projects under its CSR programme. The initiative includes the construction of a kitchen room and a modern toilets block at the Government High School for Girls in Sullurpeta, and a well-designed building for the Anganwadi Centre at RC Puram village, located near Sri City. The new facilities, developed at a cost of Rs 18.8 lakh, were ceremoniously inaugurated on Friday by MD of Aisan Auto Parts India Yasunori Sakaue and CSR Director of Sri City Foundation Nireesha Sannareddy at both locations. Speaking on the occasion, Yasunori Sakaue expressed satisfaction at being able to contribute to the betterment of children's education and hygiene, and reaffirmed Aisan's long-term commitment to supporting meaningful CSR initiatives. Nireesha Sannareddy commended Aisan's proactive engagement and reiterated the Sri City Foundation's ongoing dedication to enhancing educational and healthcare infrastructure across the region. With over 600 students and just 12 toilets, girls faced a lot of inconvenience. The new toilet block has brought huge relief, said the Headmistress of Sullurpeta Girls high school. In RC Puram, space crunch was a challenge as both the school and Anganwadi centre shared a single building while the new facility solved the problem.

Red Cross honours Sri City for outstanding blood donation initiative
Sri City: Sri City has been recognised by Indian Red Cross Society, AP State Branch with a certificate of appreciation on World Blood Donors Day-2025, for its commendable contribution in organising one of the highest blood donation camps in the state. In a ceremony held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Guntur, the award was presented by Minister for Health, Y Satya Kumar Yadav on Saturday, Senior Manager in Sri City Foundation Surendra Kumar received the award on behalf of Sri City, accompanied by representatives from Isu-zu Motors India and Axxelent Pharma Science, who also supported the noble cause. Sri City stood Second in the category of 'Highest Blood Units Collect-ed in a Single Camp' for the year 2023–24, reflecting its sustained commitment to social responsibility and public health. Commenting on the recognition, Director (CSR) of Sri City Nireesha Sannareddy said that this recognition by the Red Cross reaffirms their belief that industrial development must walk hand-in-hand with social commitment.
