The initiative includes the construction of a kitchen room and a modern toilets block at the Government High School for Girls in Sullurpeta, and a well-designed building for the Anganwadi Centre at RC Puram village, located near Sri City. The new facilities, developed at a cost of Rs 18.8 lakh, were ceremoniously inaugurated on Friday by MD of Aisan Auto Parts India Yasunori Sakaue and CSR Director of Sri City Foundation Nireesha Sannareddy at both locations.
Speaking on the occasion, Yasunori Sakaue expressed satisfaction at being able to contribute to the betterment of children's education and hygiene, and reaffirmed Aisan's long-term commitment to supporting meaningful CSR initiatives.
Nireesha Sannareddy commended Aisan's proactive engagement and reiterated the Sri City Foundation's ongoing dedication to enhancing educational and healthcare infrastructure across the region.
With over 600 students and just 12 toilets, girls faced a lot of inconvenience. The new toilet block has brought huge relief, said the Headmistress of Sullurpeta Girls high school. In RC Puram, space crunch was a challenge as both the school and Anganwadi centre shared a single building while the new facility solved the problem.

Last Updated: The company said that the decision about the same has been taken due to adverse impact of continued forex fluctuation and global supply chain dynamics. German luxury carmaker BMW on Thursday said it will hike prices of its vehicles across its range by up to 3 per cent from September 1, 2025, citing the adverse impact of continued forex fluctuation and global supply chain dynamics. BMW currently sells a range of luxury cars and SUVs, including electric vehicles, starting with the 2 Series Gran Coupé priced at Rs 46.9 lakh and the BMW XM tagged at Rs 2.6 crore. 'BMW India's growth and sales momentum in the first half of the year has been remarkable. Further, he said, 'In the festive season, we are geared to introduce several new power-packed profiles of our cars. As the strong demand for BMW's luxurious, pioneering cars continues, we will deliver exceptional performance and innovation to our valued customers." view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. 1.4 lakh transactions recorded on 1st day of annual toll pass
Representative Image NEW DELHI: Around 1.4 lakh FASTag users have bought the annual toll pass and on the first day around a similar number of transactions were recorded at toll plazas on NHs and National Expressways, the NHAI said on Friday. The toll pass scheme was rolled out from Thursday midnight. In a statement, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said that about 1,150 toll plazas on NHs and NEs are processing the passes "Around 20,000-25,000 concurrent users are using Rajmargyatra App at any point of time and annual pass users are receiving SMS messages for zero deduction of toll fee," it said. The highways authority said officials have been deployed at each toll plaza to ensure a smooth travel experience for pass users. "NHAI is addressing queries of the pass users through various channels. To address the grievances of pass users, 1033 NH helpline number has been further strengthened with the addition of over 100 executives," it added. The annual pass eliminates the need to frequently recharge FASTag through one-time fee payment of Rs 3,000 for a year's validity or 200 toll plaza crossings. The is applicable for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and gets activated within two hours of the fee payment through Rajmargyatra App or NHAI website.
