Devotion marks Guru Poornima celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam
Prasanthi Nilayam: Prasanthi Nilayam, the sacred abode of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, resonated with divine vibrations as thousands of devotees gathered to celebrate Guru Poornima, honoring the eternal Jagat Guru. The serene atmosphere was filled with reverence, devotion, and surrender, marking a day of profound spiritual significance. The celebrations began with soulful Guru Vandana bhajans by the Prasanthi Bhajan Group, each note steeped in love and devotion, creating an ambiance of peace and grace. The melodies elevated the hearts of all present, offering a sublime connection to the divine. S S Naganand, trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, delivered an inspiring address, emphasising the transformative role of the Guru. He highlighted how even simple bhajans become powerful tools for inner growth under the guidance of a true Master, especially on the auspicious Guru Poornima, coinciding with Thursday (Guruvara). Nimish Pandya, All India President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, spoke on gratitude and surrender, drawing from the life of Sant Tukaram and Lord Vitthala. He described true devotion as accepting every moment as the Guru's prasad, calling the Guru's guidance the greatest assurance in life.A key highlight was the presence of Union minister for agriculture, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who distributed farming equipment to 100 farmers from Sri Sathya Sai district, promoting sustainable agriculture. State health minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav also attended, reflecting governmental support for rural development. In his address, Chouhan, a first-time visitor, expressed awe at the universal love permeating Prasanthi Nilayam. He planted a Rudraksha sapling at Shanti Bhavan, symbolising his bond with Mother Earth.

Sanatana Dharma is eternal and unbreakable: Rajasthan Governor
Puttaparthi: Rajasthan Governor Hariba Bagde visited the Maha Samadhi of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi and participated as the chief guest in a special seminar on human values organised with alumni of Sathya Sai institutions. The Governor was warmly welcomed by R J Ratnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, along with other Trust members. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the start of the Human Values Seminar. In his address to the gathering of students and alumni, Governor Bagde highlighted that Sanatana Dharma is eternal and unbreakable, and it should be realised through the unity of body, mind, and soul. He stated that recognising the Divine (Paramatma) as the creator of the universe leads the soul towards higher spiritual understanding, a teaching deeply rooted in Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's philosophy. Emphasising the need to walk the path shown by Baba, the Governor urged students to internalise and live with the five fundamental human values - truth (Sathya), righteousness (Dharma), peace (Shanti), Love (Prema), and Non-violence (Ahimsa) alongside the spirit of selfless service. 'True fulfillment of human life comes through living these values,' he said. He expressed deep joy in visiting Prasanthi Nilayam, describing it as a place of peace, human values and dedicated service to humanity. The Governor also lauded Bhagawan's global contributions to mankind and encouraged everyone to follow his path of love and service. A large number of students and devotees attended the event, marking it as a spiritually enriching occasion.

Food distributed to 30,000 devotees
Puttaparthi: Celebrating Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam, the sacred Maha Narayana Seva was held with great devotion and service at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the revered trustees of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and senior elders led the noble acts of Annadanam (distribution of food) and Vastradanam (distribution of clothes). The event witnessed the participation of over 30,000 devotees, who were blessed with Swami's maha prasadam. Ms. Palle Sindhura Reddy, MLA of Puttaparthi Assembly Constituency, and Mr. Palle Raghunatha Reddy, former MLA, who took part in the service activities and paid their respects to the legacy of Bhagawan. Sevadal volunteers of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations played a vital role in organizing the grand event. They ensured smooth arrangements including the erection of pandals, provision of drinking water and buttermilk, and managing the flow of beneficiaries from neighbouring villages—offering comfort and care amidst the intense summer heat. The Maha Narayana Seva stands as a testament to Bhagawan's message of Love All, Serve All and continues to inspire selfless service in the hearts of devotees around the world.
