July 16 (UPI) -- The Jonas Brothers are back with new music. The trio released the song "I Can't Lose" and an accompanying music video Wednesday. The track supports Stand Up to Cancer in partnership with Mastercard. "I Can't Lose" is described as "a song about love, strength and showing up for the people you love," and will appear on the band's upcoming album Greetings From Your Hometown, which is due Aug. 8. "'I Can't Lose' is a song we hope can carry different meanings for everyone who hears it and, for those who need it, a reminder of their own strength," the Jonas Brothers said in a statement. The music video shows the band performing for a group of fans on a rooftop. Greetings From Your Hometown will also include the previously released songs "Love Me to Heaven," "No Time to Talk" and "Slow Motion." Netflix actress becomes latest star to 'join Celebrity Bake Off' line-up

A Hollywood actress has reportedly signed up for the next series of The Great British Celebrity Bake Off, which is set to air in the spring on Channel 4 Speculation is rife about the line-up for the upcoming series of The Great British Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer, with the latest name being linked to the show being a renowned actress. The celebrity version of the popular baking competition, which typically airs every spring on Channel 4, invites four celebrities each week to join hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding in the tent, all vying for the coveted Star Baker title. ‌ The previous series showcased the baking prowess of personalities such as Roman Kemp, Kate Garraway, Gloria Hunniford, Chris Ramsey and Scarlette Douglas. ‌ Set to follow in their footsteps is Hollywood actress Ambika Mod, who is rumoured to have signed up for the next instalment of The Great British Celebrity Bake Off. "Bosses were thrilled to sign Ambika up - she's a fan of the show so loved doing it," an insider revealed to The Sun. Daily Record has reached out to Channel 4 for a response. Ambika, aged 29, is a multi-talented actress, comedian and writer, best known for her roles in BBC's This Is Going to Hurt and Netflix series One Day, reports the Mirror. She portrayed Emma Morley in One Day, an adaptation of David Nicholls' novel bearing the same title. The series was a hit among Netflix viewers, catapulting Ambika into overnight fame. ‌ In 2025, the actress has featured in Black Bag, Disney+ thriller The Stolen Girl and action comedy Sacrifice. Ambika is the latest celebrity rumoured to be joining the line-up for The Great British Celebrity Bake Off, alongside names such as JoJo Siwa and Molly-Mae Hague who have also been linked to the show. Love Island's Molly is speculated to be expanding her talents into baking, while JoJo is reportedly set to add the show to her extensive list of TV appearances, following her participation in Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. ‌ Edith Bowman is also rumoured to be participating in the Channel 4 series, along with comedian Babatunde Aleshe. Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond are the hosts for both the original and celebrity versions of Bake Off, with Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith typically serving as judges. However, the 2025 series of Celebrity Bake Off saw a change in the judging panel, with Prue being replaced by her close friend Caroline Waldegrave.

An actress, who shot to fame in hit Netflix series One Day, has reportedly signed up to participate in the next series of The Great British Celebrity Bake Off Rumours surrounding which stars are set to appear in the next series of The Great British Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer have already started swirling, and the last name to be thrown into the ring is a famous actress. The hit celebrity edition of the show, which tends to air every spring on Channel 4, sees four famous faces join hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding in the tent each week to compete to be crowned Star Baker. ‌ This year's series saw the likes of Roman Kemp, Kate Garraway, Gloria Hunniford, Chris Ramsey and Scarlette Douglas show off their baking skills. ‌ Following in their footsteps is Hollywood actress Ambika Mod, who has reportedly signed up for the next series of The Great British Celebrity Bake Off. 15-year-old Jamon King was diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia in January of 2023. It started as a stomachache that wouldn't go away. His mother took him to the doctor seeking answers and learned the devastating news. Jamon immediately began his treatment at Atrium Health Levine Children's Brenner Children's Hospital. During his time at Brenner Children's Hospital, Jamon discovered his love for art. Prior to his diagnosis, Jamon enjoyed basketball and football, but after staying at the hospital he found a new passion. In February, Jamon worked with the Winston-Salem Dash team to create an ice cream inspired jersey to be worn by players during the Stand Up to Cancer game. On Saturday, June 14, Jamon threw out the first pitch at the Winston-Salem Dash Stand Up to Cancer game. Later in the game, he was recognized for his bravery battling T-Cell Leukemia. Players also wore a special jersey designed by Jamon. He was excited to see his design come to life on the field. 'No matter what you're going through, keep pushing because God is going to make a way,' Jamon said. 'Trust the group of people supporting you, no matter how big or small your group is. Find a group of people that believe in you as much as you believe in yourself.'
