32 Things You Can Buy Because You're An Adult And Make Your Own Decisions
A shaker of Thin Mint seasoning for the person who stocks up on Girl Scout cookies every year but always runs out pre-maturely. This fairy dust will make anything from milkshakes to popcorn taste like your favorite elusive treat. A somewhat rude sticker to make your commute feel a little more like Mario Kart. Leave those slow-driving jerks in the dust! Promising review: "I put this on the driver-side mirror of my car. The instructions were clear and simple. It came with two decals, but I only used one because my passenger mirror has the usual writing about objects in the distance. I've been through a few car washes, and so far, it's stayed in place. I love that it is subtle, but gives me a chuckle when I remember that it's on my mirror." — it from Amazon for $2.22. A jar of black truffle "caviar" for when you want to feel tuxedo-level fancy, but don't have the funds (or heart) for the real deal. These truffle pearls are made with squid ink, so they still have an ocean-y kick without any sturgeon endangerment. A pack of colorful Starface pimple patches — hydrocolloid stickers that protect open pimples while slowly sucking out gunk from your skin, potentially speeding up the healing process. Bonus: On top of their classic star shape, they now have these really cool fruit sticker designs so you can do your best apple-at-the-grocery store impression. A shaker of edible cocktail glitter, because what drink wouldn't benefit from a little razzle dazzle? The halal- and kosher-certified glitter is exactly what you need if you're going for "my bartender is a fairy" type vibes. A pack of glittery highlighters for people who want some extra ~oomph~ when they highlight a really juicy part of their textbook. A wind-up toy shaped like a cat riding a robot vacuum. A working claw machine you can fill with any tiny treats you'd like, from squishy toys to candy Now you can say, "we have claw machine at home." Chatter mouth silicone grips for a somewhat unsettling cooking experience. These pot holders can withstand up to 450 degrees and double as a tool to torment your guests with lil' nibbles. >:) A "Bling Thing" calculator with rhinestone buttons offering a new definition for "girl math." Sure, your phone has a calculator. But is it this cute? A NeeDoh Dream Drop that even comes with its own little stand to really sell the appearance of a droplet of magical goo. The mesmerizing glitter is already a treat, but you'll be in love once you feel how satisfyingly SQUISHY this is. A pair of chandelier earrings for an over-to-top, iconic look that will make everyone's eye light up when they see your earrings light up. They don't just look swanky: They're made with flexible oxidized silver and clear Czech teardrop crystals. An enormous, five-pound bag of gummy bears, because you're financially independent and can buy your own candy, Halloween be damned. Listen, I'm gonna leave a short review here, but click through and read some of the dang novel-length reviews some people are leaving. People are passionate about these gummies! Maybe it's because they're softer than other brands and have 11 (!!!) flavors. Promising review: "As a gummy fanatic for more years than I care to admit, I have tried all sorts of brands, both popular brands and generic, domestically and internationally. In terms of taste, moisture, aroma, and variety, Albanese gummy bears are unmatched. Yes, they're pricey, but if you prioritize quality over quantity, this is the purchase for you. Treat yourself to absolute quality and go for Albanese." —trev rogersGet it from Amazon for $17.76+ (available in various pack sizes and 11 flavors). A pack of merit badges for the modern adult who needs a little encouragement. Congrats on flossing — it's a big accomplishment! Promising review: "These badges are beautifully made, high quality, with vivid colors and no fraying — looked just like the pictures. Very easy to adhere. I used these to personalize my work bag, which is made out of heavy canvas. Highly recommend it, will buy more." —M SimonGet a pack of three from Amazon for $17.99+ (available in 28 sets). Mystical Flames — a cool invention that turns your boring old fire into a rainbow fire. Camping has never felt so rave-like. Just don't use these packets if you're planning on roasting food. Promising review: Mystical Fire Colorant is amazing. For a really fun experience, get some of these for your next camping trip. As if a campfire needs improvement... but this stuff is really neat. I'd say the adults love it even more than the kids. We only used one packet, and the colors were so good — it seems like they lasted at least 20 minutes. There was even color left in the ashes the next day. We will never go camping again without several packs of Mystical Fire on hand." —TeNeGet a pack of six from Amazon for $7.20+. A Grim Steeper silicone tea infuser that doubles as a useful reminder to people not to bother you until you're done with your morning cuppa. Nostalgic bath pearls for anyone who misses taking a truly fun bath. Throw a couple into your tub, put on "Candy" by Mandy Moore, and recapture some '90s magic. A set of cowboy straw toppers that add a little "don't mess with Texas" vibe to your water bottle by protecting the drinking straw from strangers bumping into it. Look how cute this bottle looks with a lil' hat on! It thinks it's people. :') A Lego cherry blossom kit for decor you can build yourself. The 430-piece set comes with everything you need to build two stems, and at less than $15, it's a steal compared to most Lego kits. A Skin1004 Zombie Pack to bring your skin back to life in a good, non-horror movie way. The mask tightens as it dries, creating a fun undead look (just like the more expensive Hanacure). Nicola Peltz Beckham 'working on' husband Brooklyn's skincare routine
Nicola Peltz Beckham is "working on" getting husband Brooklyn to improve his skincare routine. The 30-year-old actress thinks her spouse has "great" skin but is keen to see him take more measures to look after his complexion because at the moment the only product he uses is "body soap". She laughed to E! News about Brooklyn's skincare regime: 'I'm working on that. He still uses body soap for his face, but his skin still looks great!' Brooklyn is sometimes baffled by Nicola's own beauty routines, such as her love of using a freckle stamp to add fake beauty spots. Asked about the current trends she loves, she said: "The freckles! I tried the Tarte one, the one with the multiple prongs. I love it. It's so cute. "Anytime I wear it, Brooklyn's like, 'Wait, what did you do?' I just do little freckles." The 'Lola' star used to worry about covering her pimples as a teenager, but these days she is "obsessed" with Starface's treatment patches and is happy to draw attention to her blemishes by wearing them out and about. Asked beauty advice for her younger self, she told E!: "Less make-up. Like we don't need to cover so much, I'd be so insecure if I had a pimple in high school. "I'd think, 'Oh my God, I want to cry about it.' "Now I'm so obsessed with those Starface pimple patches. If I had that in high school, I'd say, 'It's so cute!' "I wear them to the airport; I wear them to dinner; I love them. It's such a cute idea." Nicola believes it is important to find the time to properly prepare her skin before putting on make-up, and it's something she starts thinking about the night before a big event. She said: "I would say that prep before makeup is so important. If you have the time, use it for that. "Even the night before an event I like to use restoring and hydrating products such as the ISDIN Melatonik Overnight Recovery Serum, it includes melatonin and ensures my skin looks and feels rested."

Marc Jacobs' Heaven Collaborates with Starface, Available Today
The kings of collaboration—fashion line Heaven by Marc Jacobs and acne-positivity skincare brand Starface—have come together to create the alliance to end all alliances. In the past, Starface has tapped Hello Kitty, Sesame Street, and Glossier, and Heaven has joined forces with Anna Sui and Sofia Coppola (I'm still on the hunt for a Virgin Suicides skirt)—but this is the first fashion x beauty crossover. 'I have so much admiration for the Marc Jacobs legacy and Heaven's cultural impact,' Julie Schott, the co-founder of Starface, says. 'Over the years, Starface has shown up organically in that world, whether it was on the Heaven couch or on friends at parties or in the store. Making something together felt intuitive and spontaneous. Both Starface and Heaven are nostalgic, rebellious, and live a little outside of the mainstream while being relatable, inviting, and fun.' For the limited-edition drop, the classic star-shaped hydrocolloid patches have been reimagined into tattoo-inspired shapes by artists Keegan Dakkar, Sean Kennedy, Rachel Lu, and David Enth. On top of revamped 5-pointed stars, there are also spiders, faux piercings, and the Heaven mascot, a two-headed teddy bear. Even 'Big Yellow,' Starface's square-shaped logo-cum-mirrored compact, a punk makeover in black-and-white. 'I have always found that Starface embodies a sense of youthfulness in the same way Heaven does,' Heaven by Marc Jacobs creative director Ava Nirui tells Vogue. Both brands are centered around individuality and self-expression and share so many parallels in terms of community and visual identity.' When Starface launched in 2019, it immediately created waves in the acne skincare world. Celebrities like the Biebers and Anne Hathaway have sported the pimple patches out about town, signaling a major change in attitude toward spots. 'I love what the Starface brand represents and feel super connected to it,' Nirui adds. 'I'm pleased we were able to come up with an idea for the patches that felt super true to the Heaven brand and incorporate the work of artists from the Marc Jacobs world.'

Starface Hydro-Star Clear Patches Have Gone Incognito Mode
Starface For some time now, Gen Z has embraced pimple patches as a secondary accessory. Originally designed as discreet treatments for blemishes, these patches have undergone a notable transformation, largely thanks to Starface. The shift became especially apparent in 2019, when the brand launched its signature yellow star-shaped patches—reminiscent of the playful stickers many of us wore on our faces as kids. Quickly capturing the attention of celebrities like Justin Bieber, Central Cee, and SZA, these patches evolved into a fun, Instagram-friendly statement, turning a once-private skincare ritual into a public, photogenic moment. Now, Starface is introducing its new Hydro-Star Clear patches with an invisible finish. Opting for a traditional round shape, the Hydro-Star Clear patches blend seamlessly into the skin, while still offering the same blemish-minimizing formula, now in a more subtle form. But this shift raises a question: If pimple patches became such a cultural moment—embraced as skincare to be worn out in the open—why is Starface opting for transparent, 'incognito' patches that remove the visibility that made them the 'it brand?' According to Starface President Kara Brothers, 'There's probably not a hundred percent of moments in the day where you can choose to decorate your face, unfortunately,' she tells Vogue Business. 'And so, to be able to offer our customers the option to stay within the Starface universe while providing them with a truly invisible patch is great. It shows we listen.' But there's no need to worry: each 32-pack of Hydro-Star Clear, while shedding its childlike charm, still maintains its core functionality: absorbing fluid, reducing redness, and protecting skin from bacteria and the temptation to pick. Hydro-Star Clear is now available in packs of 32 patches and retails for USD$12.99 on the brand's website.
