Drew Sidora Reveals She Dated Michael B. Jordan: 'People That Know, Know'

Drew Sidora's latest confession about a past relationship has left many surprised, mostly because it has never been mentioned until now. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently sat down with Carlos King on his Reality with the King podcast, where she dished on her past relationships with Ty Young and Dennis McKinley — while also dropping a bombshell. The Step Up star revealed that she once dated Michael B. Jordan, long before he became the Hollywood heartthrob and talent he is today. 'I dated Michael B. Jordan,' she casually said. 'I never said that out loud publicly, but people that know, know.' Possibly even throwing a little shade at her past lovers, she added, 'I like biceps, not bellies.' And we all know MBJ has that plus more. Drew went on to reminisce about the days when Jordan was still a rising star, back when he was acting on All My Children in the early 2000s. According to Drew, she even attended the NAACP Awards as his date at that time. 'He asked me to be his date to the NAACP awards,' she recalled, adding that they were also friendly with each other's families. 'My sister Allison … he would come over and she would cook for him … I met his mom, and you know it was great.' Drew, however, isn't the only one who has spilled tea about a past Michael B. Jordan romance. Brie Tiesi made headlines in 2023 when she claimed to have been intimate with the Sinners star. During a dinner scene on Netflix's real estate reality show, Selling Sunset, Brie casually flexed, 'I could do that and I've done that,' when asked if she'd sleep with Jordan. Another realtor responded to her claims with, 'I want to live through that vagina right now.' While the world has witnessed Jordan's publicized romance with Lori Harvey, he's kept his dating life under wraps since their public split. The 38-year-old has since made it clear that he's not rushing into anything. 'My next relationship is gonna happen when it's supposed to happen,' he told Rolling Stone in 2023. Bear on golf course brings early end to women's tournament in Japan; "surprised" teen declared winner

Bear attacks in Japan at record high as the animals struggle to find food Golfers in Japan had more than just bunkers and water hazards to deal with when a bear sighting brought an early end to a tournament because of safety concerns, marking the second time in less than two weeks that creatures have invaded a pro golf tournament. The final round of the Twinfields Ladies on the women's second-tier Step Up tour in central Japan was cancelled after a bear was spotted on the course on Saturday. The decision was taken to protect players and spectators, said organizers. Reina Maeda, who was leading on six-under par after Friday's second round, was declared the winner, earning 2.7 million yen (about $19,000) for the victory. "I was very surprised, but I'm very happy," said the 19-year-old. That came just a day after a turtle interrupted play on the same course. Human encounters with bears have reached record levels in Japan, with 219 people attacked, resulting in six deaths in the 12 months leading up to April 2024. Climate change affecting food sources and hibernation times, along with depopulation caused by an ageing society, are causing bears to venture into towns more frequently. Experts previously told CBS News that as Japan's population shrinks, humans are leaving rural areas, and bears are moving in. "Then that area recovered to the forest, so bears have a chance to expand their range," biologist Koji Yamazaki, from Tokyo University of Agriculture, told CBS News. Japan's government in February approved a bill allowing hunters to shoot bears in populated areas. In December, a bear that rampaged through a Japanese supermarket for two days was lured out with food coated in honey. Police said the animal was trapped and later killed.

AGC reviewing new home detention law

A rousing start: Ramli (seated centre) and Saifuddin (on Ramli's right) witnessing the launch of the celebration at the Esplanade in George Town. — LIM BENG TATT/The Star GEORGE TOWN: A draft to amend the Prisons Act and introduce a new law on home detention is currently under review by the Attorney General's Chambers before being tabled in Parliament. Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the move would pave the way for implementing home detention as an alternative to imprisonment, especially for remand detainees and those convicted of non-serious offences. 'We will table it this year. At the policy level, it has been approved by the Cabinet. 'It is now at the stage where the Attorney General's Chambers is developing the amendment matrix,' he said after launching the 235th Prisons Day celebration in Jalan Padang Kota Lama yesterday. Saifuddin said the new Prisons Act would provide a legal framework for a more humane approach to home detention, helping to ease prison overcrowding while allowing inmates to serve their sentences within the community. 'Our current imprisonment rate is 245 per 100,000 population, compared to the global average of 145 per 100,000. 'We currently have 81,000 inmates, with 27,000 of them on remand. 'If we can filter and target those involved in minor offences, they can serve their detention at home while wearing monitoring devices,' he said. He said about 6,000 inmates were already serving their sentences in the community and the rehabilitation approach had shown positive results. 'We are shifting from a punitive model to one focused on correction and rehabilitation. 'There is a stark difference in recidivism rates, where 12 out of every 100 incarcerated individuals reoffend, compared to just one in 800 among participants in community-based programmes.' He said the government also planned to amend the Compulsory Attendance Order Act to expand its scope to include those serving up to 10 years in prison, compared to the current limit of three to four years. Saifuddin said the Step Up initiative, supported by the private sector to employ inmates through reintegration programmes, had also received strong interest. 'More than 1,225 companies participated, with some hiring 10, 30 or even up to 100 of our prospects. 'They do not need to pay levies or visa fees, and these prospects can contribute to their families,' he said. Earlier at the celebration, various exhibitions and performances, including police combat demonstrations and drama plays, were held before hundreds of visitors. Penang Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Ramli Ngah Talib was present to grace the event. In his speech, Saifuddin said the Prisons Department is prepared to train 10,000 inmates this year to work in critical industries, reducing reliance on foreign labour in key sectors.

Cassie Ventura Says Sean 'Diddy' Combs Watched 'Freak Off' Videos Of Her While On A Commercial Flight

During Cassie Ventura's second day of testimony in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal trial, in which he faces charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, the vocalist recounted a disturbing incident where she said her ex-boyfriend allegedly watched "freak off" videos on a commercial flight in front of other passengers. On May 14, Cassie took the stand to begin her second day of testimony in Diddy's federal trial. If convicted of all charges, he could spend life in prison. During her first day of testimony, the 38-year-old detailed the alleged "freak offs" Diddy pressured her to participate in. Through tears, the "Me & U" singer recalled being urinated on, which almost caused her to choke, and being pushed to have sexual intercourse while on her menstrual cycle. On day two, Ventura further testified about the "freak offs" and said that Diddy used to blackmail her with videos of her having sex with other men. "It is horrible and disgusting. No one should do that to anyone," she said of the alleged blackmail, according to NBC News. "It could ruin everything I worked for, make me look like a sl-t." "I wasn't supposed to be on those videos," she added. "I didn't want to be in them." Later, Cassie described her terror upon learning a video of her at one of Diddy's alleged freak offs may have been leaked online. She testified that someone shared the news with her while working at an Atlantic City event. She reached out to Diddy, expressing her concern over the leaked footage, adding that it "would put my career in jeopardy" and bring shame to "my mother [and] my family." That unsettling feeling about the alleged "freak offs" being on video only intensified when Cassie reportedly saw Diddy watching them during a commercial flight. As her testimony continued, the mother of two recounted an argument she had with Diddy during a 2013 trip to France, when, during their flight home, he allegedly "pulled up 'freak off' videos on his laptop that I thought were deleted." Cassie continued, "He was showing them with other people around. I said, 'You are embarrassing me.' I was scared. I felt trapped. How do you get out of this situation? I felt trapped." The "Step Up" actor later testified that despite feeling like she had nowhere to turn, she arranged another freak off within hours of their landing, claiming Diddy threatened to release the videos if she didn't. During her first day on the stand, Cassie reflected on the first time Diddy allegedly asked her to have sex with another man while he watched. Cassie stated she was "22" and felt thoroughly "confused" by Diddy's request. However, she admitted to going along with his alleged demands because she "loved him very much and wanted to make him happy." She added, "It wasn't something that I wanted to be doing, especially as regularly as it became. But again, I was in love and wanted to make him happy. At some point, I felt I didn't have much of a choice." Later, Cassie explained that planning the alleged "freak offs" became her full-time job, adding that she had no time for anything else. "Staying out for days on end, taking drugs and drinking, having sex with a stranger," she said in court. "They would be 36, 48, 72 hours, the longest one was four days." "I felt disgusting. I felt humiliated," she said. "I didn't have the words to show how horrible I felt. I couldn't talk to anyone about it." Cassie also testified that early in her decade-long relationship with Diddy, the rapper allegedly discussed his voyeurism fantasy with her. "He described it as a fantasy he had where he would want to see me having sexual interactions with another male so he could watch," Cassie said in court. "I loved him, I didn't want him to think I thought anything bad of him," she added.
