Seattle weather: Beautiful day in store for Friday
The Brief Thursday turned out to be a nice and sunny day, with even more sunshine expected on Friday. Temperatures tomorrow will be in the low to mid 60s, with some high clouds expected to roll in later in the day. SEATTLE - Thursday turned out to be a nice day. The temperature got to 56 degrees, which is 1 degree below the average. Lots of sunshine Thursday and even more of it Friday. Friday's temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s. It will be a sunny day, until late in the day when some high clouds make their way in. Lots of people will be out and about on Friday. They will visit beaches and lakes, the Tulip Festival and the Cherry Blossoms over at the University of Washington. Be patient and grant grace to those on the roads. Another thing, lots of people will be on the hiking trails. These temperatures are for the pass levels. Hiking trails will be busy, so make sure you have sunscreen and extra water. What's next Beautiful day in store for Friday. Saturday will be warm too, but the clouds will roll in. Sunday some showers will make their way in by midday. And then early next week, we will see temps back in the mid 50s with showers and sunbreaks. Seattle weather: Spring in full swing
The Brief Temperatures Wednesday will be in the low to mid 50s. In the mountains we will have temps in the mid 30s with the snow level at 3500 feet. SEATTLE - Tuesday was cool. We only got to 51 degrees, and more of the same for Wednesday with showers off and on throughout the day. Most of the showers will remain in the convergence zone. But you will most likely have a wet morning commute. Temperatures Wednesday will be in the low to mid 50s. In the mountains we will have temps in the mid 30s with the snow level at 3500 feet. Spring is in full swing! Our average temperature is 57 degrees at the first of the month, and 63 degrees by the time we get to the end of the month. By the way, on average we do get three days of 70+ each year in April! The Tulip Festival and Cherry Blossoms are in bloom in Skagit County and at the University of Washington respectively. Seattle weather: Cooler, calmer Mariners Opening Day forecast
The Brief Thursday will be cooler and calmer, though there is a chance of a stray thunderstorm in the afternoon. The roof will most likely be closed for Mariners Opening Day with some showers. Thursday will be calmer. Wednesday was a very active day. Hail, thunderstorms, rain, and a few power outages. Temperatures were warm but not as warm as was forecast, and because of those cooler temperatures we didn't get as big of hail as was forecast. The biggest hail size that was reported as nickel size out on the Olympic Peninsula. What's next Thursday will start with cloudy skies and a few showers. It will be cooler tomorrow, as we head back to average temperatures. There is a chance of a stray thunderstorm tomorrow afternoon. Thursday is opening day for the Mariners … Woo Hoo! Baseball season is here! The roof will most likely be closed for the game with some showers. It will be 55 degrees as you go to the game tomorrow. We could see some fog early in the morning, and it will be dry throughout most of the day on Friday. We will see a few showers pop up late in the day on the North Olympic Peninsula, through the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan Islands. Otherwise we will see some sunbreaks with temperatures in the low 50s. What's next Temperatures in the mountains will be in the upper 30s and low 40s. No new snow, but we could get some over the weekend with conditions changing. In fact, starting on Saturday we will see showers in the forecast through the middle of next week.
