It took me 0:56 to complete today's NYT Mini. I was so mad about 1 Across. I thought it was MAN as in "Manuel" and the informal form of address. If not for that and putting an "I" instead of a "Y" in DRYER, I would have finished this in no time at all on my first pass of the Across words. Instead I had to spend time figuring out the problem and troubleshooting it. I realized that 1 Down had to be wrong, so I corrected that. But I'm not familiar with a METER lemon.
