Coleraine: Elderly man charged with murder after shocking find
An elderly man has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a woman in south-western Victoria on Sunday. Police were called to the home at Pilleau Street, Coleraine just after 1am on Sunday responding to reports an 81-year-old woman had been stabbed. The woman died at the scene and an 81-year-old man was arrested. He has been charged with murder and has been remanded in custody. He will appear at Warrnambool Magistrates' Court on Monday. Redfern: Woman fighting for life after alleged domestic violence assault
A man has been charged after a woman was critically injured in an alleged domestic violence assault in inner Sydney. The 47-year-old woman was rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital after she was allegedly assaulted inside a Redfern unit just after 4.30pm on Saturday, NSW Police said.
