LEGO Sets Revealed for Netflix's One Piece
A lot of people are getting hyped for the second season of One Piece , and though they didn't have much merch in the first season, LEGO has revealed their new sets based on the live-action version of the Straw Hat Crew. Here's the official reveal: Hey there, Nakama! Are you ready for a grand adventure with the Straw Hats in LEGO bricks? 🏴☠️ Be the first in line – pre-order now. Link in bio.#LEGO #LEGOOnePiece #OnePiece #Netflix — ONE PIECE(ワンピース) Netflix (@onepiecenetflix) June 5, 2025 According to Netflix, the sets will include the Going Merry ship, Battle at Arlong Park, Buggy the Clown's Circus Tent, the Windmill Village Hut (with Shanks and Kid Luffy), and the largest set in the wave, The Baratie Floating Restaurant which not only includes the main Straw Hat crew, but some minifgs for the Navy characters and Mihawk as well. Source: Netflix, LEGO Seeing that this is LEGO, we should also expect a lot of playability with the sets as well. Just like in the series, Arlong's tower can also split in half and collapse; and Buggy's circus is full of all kinds of traps that he can put the crew in like a water tank and a cage. I'll admit, a lot of these sets are pretty great, and there's a great way to get several minifigs, even if you don't purchase the bigger sets. The Buggy set alone gets you three members of the Straw Hats; if I do have a gripe though, they should have probably added Zoro and Sanji to the Arlong Park set, but at least you get Usopp? THE ONE PIECE… THE LEGO ONE PIECE IS REALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! — THE EVIL MIRACLE_MALICE (@MiracleSenpai) June 5, 2025 Though Netflix was considered to have been cursed when it came to anime adaptations, One Piece managed to break the mould, and everyone is excited for the Straw Hats to come back with the second season. The One Piece LEGO sets come out on Aug. 1. Season 2 for One Piece is set to come out in 2026.

Everything to Know About ‘One Piece' Season 2's New Crewmate, Tony Tony Chopper
Even if you haven't been an ardent One Piece fan for over 25 years, you might have become intrigued by one particular character thanks to his adorable Chibi appearance: Tony Tony Chopper. The global phenomenon manga and anime series can be a daunting task to get into, given the sheer volume of pages and episodes, but Netflix's live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's epic has opened up his pirate world to wider audiences. And after Chopper's live-action hybrid animation reveal at Tudum last weekend, his popularity will no doubt skyrocket based on the cuteness teased through Mikaela Hoover's instantly endearing performance. Don't be fooled, though; this future member of the Straw Hat Crew is more than an adorable pet mascot medic, he's one of their greatest fighters and fiercest friends. Here's a quick primer on just who Chopper is ahead of One Piece season two's premiere in 2026 on Netflix. Who is Tony Tony Chopper? Chopper was an outcast reindeer with a blue nose who ate the Human-Human Fruit, which turned him into a reindeer-human hybrid. This Devil Fruit bestowed him with consciousness, a high level of intelligence, and the ability to pick up on human languages. After he consumed the fruit, Chopper was fully rejected by his herd, a lot like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, except if he had suddenly mutated and could get real jacked. Where did Chopper come from? Alone in the wilderness of Drum, Chopper eventually crosses paths with the mad scientist Dr. Hiriluk, who is intrigued by his transformation and asks Chopper to be his assistant. Actor Mark Harelik (Preacher), who was cast as the wild-haired doctor for the Netflix series, described Tony Tony Chopper' first friend on Instagram as filled with 'passion and persistence' and teased that maybe the doctor shouldn't be 'so eager to try untested experiments' on his patients. This bit of foreshadowing echoes his grim fate, which propels Chopper to learn more about medicine under Dr. Kureha when she takes him in. Katey Sagal (Futurama) plays Kureha, the One Piece favorite who would go on to teach Chopper everything she knows. The team-up between Kureha and Chopper is something we're really looking forward to in season two. How does Chopper meet the Straw Hat Crew? Nami falls ill near the Drum Kingdom, and Luffy and the crew seek out help in the frozen expanse. Luckily, they meet Dr. Kureha and Chopper. In exchange for helping cure the Straw Hat's navigator, the crew assists in freeing Drum Kingdom from its tyrannical ruler. Chopper is reluctant to join the Straw Hats but after being snatched by the Foxy Pirate Crew as a member against his will, Luffy liberates him from that by winning a battle against them. He then gives Chopper the choice to join the Straw Hats of his own free will—and eventually, after a lot of his trademark reluctance at being perceived, he gives in. Much like the preview we saw on Tudum, Chopper has his quirks, like hiding the wrong way or breaking out into a dance when complimented, something he gets visibly ornery over (but secretly loves). We can't wait to see him visibly struggle to hide his excitement when he finally finds a family with the Straw Hats. What are Chopper's powers? In addition to his intelligence, Chopper becomes bi-pedal and stays in the form of a cute pet for the most part. However, he can evolve into three forms (kind of like Pokémon evolutions) and can go back to the one of his choosing, which happens to cause a lot of cuteness aggression. The other forms come in handy when the Straw Hats are in battle. Chopper uses 'Walk Point,' which heightens his reindeer agility and animalistic senses; 'Brain Point,' which is the humanoid pet form he stays in with a big head for the smarts it grants along with a small body; and 'Heavy Point,' which is when he looks like a jacked human with reindeer features that helps him beat the crap out of enemies. With the use of a drug called the 'Rumble Ball,' which looks like a yellow gum ball, Chopper can access even more transformation points and becomes an uncontrollable monster if he's not too careful. What is Chopper's dream? Luffy's tendency to recruit Straw Hats always comes down to their dreams and Chopper's is one of the sweetest ones. After losing Dr. Hiriluk and seeing death spread in ways that existentially changes him, Chopper's dream is to cure the world of all diseases. It makes him perfect for the Straw Hat Crew as their doctor on board and trusty secret weapon in battle. One Piece season two will be released sometime in 2026 on Netflix.

One Piece: Netflix reveals first look at live-action Chopper
Published June 1st, 2025 - 06:56 GMT ALBAWABA - Netflix is the talk of social media after publishing a new trailer that revealed the live-action version of One Piece's Tony Tony Chopper alongside the actress who will voice him, sparking mixed reactions among anime and manga fans. While many praised Netflix for doing Chopper justice, several others weren't so keen about the CGI, describing it as "uncanny" and likening it to Sonic's debut into the live-action universe. A social media user on X (formerly known as Twitter) wrote, "I'm gonna be honest.. that's a great live action version!" Another added, "He looks fine... I don't know why people are hating." Several others raised the long-running debate about whether animated shows should receive live-action adaptations, claiming that it's a quick and easy cash grab for big corporations like Netflix. However, the first season of live-action One Piece received high praise among fans for its excellent casting choices, promising visuals (except Arlong), and compelling pacing. ATTENTION ALL PIRATES! 🏴☠️ The doctor is in! Tony Tony Chopper, voiced by the incredible Mikaela Hoover, made a show-stopping appearance at #TUDUM along with the Straw Hat Crew! ⛵ 🌊 One Piece Season 2 sets sail in 2026. — ONE PIECE(ワンピース) Netflix (@onepiecenetflix) June 1, 2025 Netflix confirmed that Superman actress Mikaela Hoover will be voicing Chopper. However, many expressed disappointment that Brina Palencia, the English voice actress for Chopper in the One Piece anime, wasn't cast instead. The first-look clip also revealed a 2026 release window, sparking widespread excitement among fans. It's worth noting that Netflix is also working alongside Japanese animation studio "WiT Studio" to bring fans a remake of the One Piece anime, although Toei's adaptation is still ongoing. © 2000 - 2025 Al Bawaba (

Piracy on the Rails: All Aboard the 'One Piece' Shinkansen!
On April 12, JR West launched the ' One Piece Shinkansen,' a collaboration with the popular manga and anime series, running on the San'yō Shinkansen line between Shin-Osaka and Hakata. Passengers can board the train alongside the aspiring Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Crew, setting off on a journey filled with the thrill of adventure. The first train in the series is the 'Setouchi Blue,' inspired by the beautiful sea views visible from the San'yō Shinkansen. From the Heian (794–1185) through the Warring States (1467–1568) periods, many pirates, led by the Murakami Suigun (naval pirates), were active on the Seto Inland Sea. This route along the coastline has been dubbed the Grand Rail, imitating the Grand Line from One Piece , encouraging travelers to collect treasures—attractions and specialties found at each stop. (© Kusano Seiichirō) Packed with Popular Characters Inside the train, vibrant designs featuring fan favorites can be found on headrest covers, compartment doors, and more. Some restrooms even feature mirrors decorated with the design of a wanted poster, letting passengers imagine themselves as an infamous pirate with a massive bounty. Adding to the experience, the onboard chime when departing or arriving at stations uses the first opening theme song of the televised anime, 'We Are!' At select stations, in-train announcements are made by the voice actors of Luffy and Tony Tony Chopper, so be sure not to miss them. Original headrest covers featuring the cast of characters. On May 28, the 'Tony Tony Chopper Train' will be introduced, followed by the 'Monkey D. Luffy Train' on July 22. Three trains in total will be run at random. Until May 7, operations are limited to certain days; from May 17 through the end of June, the trains will run daily. Since schedules and stops vary by day, and the schedule from July onward remains undecided, make sure to check the official website's Train Guide before planning your adventure with Luffy and his crew.
