Beyoncé recreates iconic ‘Crazy In Love' outfit on ‘Cowboy Carter' tour — and covers it in rhinestones
It's your girl, B. While performing in Chicago over the weekend, Beyoncé recreated her iconic 'Crazy In Love' outfit on her 'Cowboy Carter' tour, hitting the stage in a rhinestone-covered take on the simple look. In the famous 2003 music video, the Grammy-winning musician, who was just 21 at the time, struts her stuff in a sparkly Prada tank top, J Brand low-rise denim hot pants and bright red Stuart Weitzman heels. Styled by Shiona Turini, her performance getup on Saturday was much more glitzy. The superstar, 43, shimmered in a custom white embellished tank top and denim short shorts adorned with royal blue gems from Sami Miro. She kept the denim going, stepping on stage in custom slouchy knee-high boots by Loewe. Beyoncé rounded out the sparkly performance outfit with equally dazzling diamond-encrusted David Koma earrings ($1,200) in the shape of a buckle. Though the Cécred founder wore her hair straight in the beloved music video, she opted for long voluminous curls during her Saturday night performance. The early aughts clip's stylist, Ty Hunter, reflected on the iconic outfit in a 2023 interview with Vogue. 'The tank actually has rhinestones on it, which not many people know,' he said. 'I remember pulling it at the showroom — it was the last thing I grabbed.' And there's a reason they went with the white top and denim shorts mash-up. 'We wanted to do something that the kids could emulate and copy,' Hunter revealed. 'Everything we did prior to that was so big and so glamorous, so we wanted to strip it down into something that the kids could emulate. That was important to Beyoncé.' There's been no shortage of fabulous designer looks on the 'Cowboy Carter' tour, which kicked off in Los Angeles last month. Thus far, she's rocked custom pieces from Mugler, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana and more storied fashion houses. And, she even has her own daughter emulating pieces from her past, with 13-year-old Blue Ivy joining her on stage for a large portion of the show in similar looks.

Megan Thee Stallion Keeps It Classic With Black Leather Sandal Heels at the 4th Annual Gold Gala in Los Angeles
Megan Thee Stallion attended the 4th Annual Gold Gala held yesterday in Los Angeles. Beyond Megan, notable attendees included Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Liza Koshy, Jhené Aiko, Tan France, H.E.R, Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, Sandra Oh and Laufey, among others. The 'Mamushi' rapper donned a standard but flattering pair of black leather sandal heels. The chosen style featured matte black leather uppers accompanied by thin but sturdy straps atop her toes and around her ankles, situated in place with adjustable gold buckle closures. More from Footwear News Megan Thee Stallion Pays Tribute to Josephine Baker at the 2025 Met Gala in Bedazzled Stuart Weitzman Stilettos Simone Biles Wears Lilac Dress and Hat With Silver Sandals for 2025 Kentucky Derby Rounded almond-shaped open toes gave way to leather soles and 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels, offering the singer a subtle boost in height. The shoe is exceedingly similar to Stuart Weitzman's Nudistsong heel. Black sandals are extremely popular for red carpet endeavors, given the style is classic and dressy. The stiletto heel offers height and length, while the black leather uppers are versatile, pairing well with dresses and suits alike. The 'Sweetest Pie' rapper matched her footwear, opting for a monochrome black gown from Quine Li. The garment was maxi-length and featured a high neckline and sculptural detailing around the bodice and hips. The dress also included sheer lace paneling and a free-flowing black skirt made of a black fabric fixed with sequins, creating a shining finish. Slits up the sides of the dress created dimension, offering a daring touch. Megan's jewelry included dangling beaded earrings and chunky rings. The 'Legendary' former judge often slips into sharp pumps, platform sandals and heeled boots from a range of top brands, including Weitzman, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo on the red carpet. Off-duty, she also wears colorful sneakers by brands including Giuseppe Zanotti. Aside from wearing bold shoes, she's also starred in campaigns for Coach, Puma and Nike and launched a collaborative line with Fashion Nova in 2021. Megan Thee Stallion Pays Tribute to Josephine Baker at the 2025 Met Gala in Bedazzled Stuart Weitzman Stilettos
Megan Thee Stallion channeled the radiance, elegance and utterly show-stopping energy of Josephine Baker in a shimmering silver sequin-encrusted gown and stilettos to mark her 2025 Met Gala on Monday. The 'Body' rapper attended 'fashion's biggest night' with designer Michael Kors, who made her custom halter gown. She amped up the opulence with a fluffy white fur coat with a long-train and a red, sculptural three-tiered ponytail modeled after one Baker wore at a performance in Cuba in 1951. More from Footwear News Rihanna Dons Lacy Heels to Complement Her Post-Met Gala Shiny Black Ensemble Anne Hathaway Sports Carolina Herrera Look and PVC Slingbacks for the Met Gala 2025 Red Carpet She finished the look with long sparkly silver nails and rhinestone-encrusted Stuart Weitzman Nudist Shine 100 stilettos. Her red carpet-ready shoes were adorned with over 2,100 Swarovski crystals, including on the 100 mm (3.9-inch) heel, slim ankle and toe straps. They were made in Spain with silver satin and feature a classic round open toe. The Stuart Weitzman Nudist Shine 100 stilettos retail for $795 and also come in Barbiecore hot pink. The event marks the Houston rapper's first Met Gala in three years, having skipped the last few. For 2022's 'Gilded Glamour and White Tie' theme, she wore a custom beaded gold brocade cut-out gown—featuring her favored sultry high slit—from Jeremy Scott, with coordinating gold stilettos, of course. Baker's presence was felt on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet, whose theme, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' honored Black fashion and dandies. From tailored tuxedos and suits with top hats to extravagant gowns and shimmering Bob Mackie-style dresses, she is the patron saint of female Black dandyism. The slick forehead curl that many celebrities wore on the carpet, including Quinta Brunson, Bad Bunny, Dua Lipa and Ayo Edebiri was also inspired by Baker, nicknamed the 'Black Venus.' Every year, the Met Gala turns New York's Met Museum into one of the buzziest, star-studded fashion events of the season to celebrate the Museum's Costume Institute's newest exhibit and to raise money for its operating budget. Bad Bunny, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky—a co-chair this year—Diana Ross, Tracee Ellis Ross, Taraji P. Henson, FKA twigs and many other celebs also walked the Met Gala 2025 carpet in stunning looks. This year's Met Gala celebrated Black fashion via the Met's 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' exhibit exploring dandyism over 300 years. The new Costume Institute exhibition showcases historical fashion alongside looks from over forty contemporary Black and POC designers, including Grace Wales Bonner, Telfar, Ozwald Boateng, Dapper Dan, Jeffrey Banks, Luar, Balmain's Olivier Rousteing, Fear of God, Off-White's Ib Kamara and Willy Chavarria. It is the Institute's first show to focus on designers of color and the first in two decades to center men's fashion. The lead sponsor behind the show and gala is Louis Vuitton, where the late Virgil Abloh served as creative director of men's collections from 2018 until his untimely death in November 2021, after which he was succeeded by Pharrell Williams. Met Gala guests got a first look at 'Superfine,' which opens to the public on Saturday and runs through Oct. 26.
