NTA announces SWAYAM July 2025 exam dates, tests scheduled for December NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has officially announced the examination dates for the SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) July 2025 semester. As per the public notice dated 29 July 2025, the exams will be held on 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th December 2025. What is SWAYAM? SWAYAM is an initiative by the Government of India aimed at providing accessible, high-quality education through online courses offered by leading Indian institutions. The platform promotes digital learning for students, teachers, and lifelong learners across disciplines and academic levels. NTA declares SWAYAM January 2025 semester exam result held in hybrid mode
SWAYAM January 2025 Result: The NTA on July 25 announced the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January 2025 semester exam results. The SWAYAM January 2025 result of the exams held in hybrid mode can be checked and downloaded from the NTA website – As per NTA data, the hybrid-mode exams covered 65 courses, with 2,226 candidates registered and 1,864 candidates appearing for the exams. The announcement follows an earlier declaration on June 27, 2025, regarding results for 524 computer-based test (CBT) courses. The final score card and certificates will be issued by the concerned national co-ordinators, NTA added. NTA has also provided a helpline number and an email ID so that candidates can contact in case queries arise and clarifications are needed. These are 011-40759000 and swayam@ Meanwhile, a parliamentary panel in February pointed out that less than four per cent of students enrolled for SWAYAM courses have completed the programme since 2017, with complaints including outdated content, inflexible teaching, and poor infrastructure. The committe, headed by Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh, also noted that digital initiatives in education would only provide lukewarm response in terms of engagement unless the Union education ministry proactively assisted in placements, wherever possible, or established a platform associated with SWAYAM for connecting recruiters to students. The SWAYAM platform facilitates hosting of courses, taught in classrooms from Class 9 till postgraduation, to be accessed by anyone, anywhere at any time. NTA SWAYAM January Semester Result 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January 2025 semester exams. All the candidates who have appeared for the exams can now check their results through the official website, i.e. Candidates will have to enter their application number along with their date of birth to access their result. The SWAYAM examination was conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and in a hybrid mode across 310 test centres in 227 cities. It took place on 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th and 31st May, 2025. The examination was conducted for a total of 589 courses, including 524 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and 65 in hybrid mode. The medium of instruction was English, except for the language-specific papers, which were conducted in their respective languages. BHU develops 63 SWAYAM courses for 2025 session
Varanasi: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) developed 63 SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) programmes for the session 2025. Registration for these programmes, set to begin on July 21 and August 18 in two phases, has started. The 4, 8, and 12-week duration programmes are developed keeping in mind the academic and professional needs of the learners. According to the BHU spokesperson, the courses cover a wide range of subjects like commerce, management, arts, humanities, social sciences, life sciences, psychology, law, engineering, and Ayurveda, among others. The programmes include traditional as well as contemporary courses. The exams for these programmes will commence in Oct 2025. The Ministry of Education launched the SWAYAM initiative with the aim of providing quality online education free of charge to all.
