It's almost ice cream season. New spring flavors coming to Sub Zero Ice Cream. See list
Before you know it, the warm weather will be settling over Massachusetts, and we all know what that means.
It's time for ice cream.
And Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream, which has locations in Massachusetts, will be offering some new flavors for this spring and summer.
Sub Zero is unique because it makes its ice cream by freezing it with liquid nitrogen.
"Drawn to the idea of 'customizable food,' Jerry and Naomi Hancock wanted to apply this to desserts," the Sub Zero website stated. "With a background in chemistry, Jerry went to work to develop a method to freeze ice cream using nothing other than liquid nitrogen. Finding success, and a pretty cool way to make a delicious and customizable treat, Jerry and Naomi opened their first Sub Zero Ice Cream in 2004."
Here's more about Sub Zero and its new flavors of ice cream.
They include:
Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
Lemon Cheesecake
Coconut Ube
There are locations in Ashland and Worcester. People can also head north to New Hampshire, where there are locations in Nashua and Manchester.
