R&B pop group 98 Degrees to return to the NYS Fair

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The 'Just One Night' singers will return and hit the Suburban Park Stage this summer. 98 Degrees, known for 'I Do Cherish You,' 'The Hardest Thing,' 'My Everything,' 'Because of You,' and more, performed back in 2021 — and they clearly couldn't get enough. They will return on Monday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m. Known for their seamless harmonies and signature R&B-inspired ballads, 98 Degrees is an internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum, multi-award-winning and nominated vocal group comprised of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre, according to the Fair. 'Fresh on the heels of their new album, we're looking forward to what's sure to be a performance that brings on the nostalgia for longtime listeners while introducing a new generation of fans to the sultry sounds that defined the '90s!' said Fair Director, Julie LaFave The Fair starts Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Is Bruno Mars the Dancing Queen? A Chevy Court opener and closer has been added to the list of concerts you can see for the price of admission at the New York State Fair this summer. The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA 21st Century Artists has presented The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA for over 20 years. They will take the Chevy Court stage on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 1 p.m. They will perform the hits, 'Mamma Mia,' 'S.O.S,' 'Money, Money, Money,' 'Knowing Me, Knowing You,' 'Waterloo,' 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,' and 'Dancing Queen.' 24K Magic – The Ultimate Bruno Mars Tribute Experience The tribute band has performed in 41 states and 11 countries. They will be at Chevy Court on Monday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. 'I'm excited that these two acts are set to open and close our 2025 Fair lineup. Covering the run of the Fair from start to finish, these excellent entertainers are sure to have Fairgoers saying, 'thank you for the music!' said Fair Director Julie LaFave. Known for the hit single 'Face Down,' the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will Chevy Court stage on Monday, August 25 at 6 p.m. 'We hope that fans of soft rock, emo, and alternative music are going to jump for joy with the news that The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is coming to The Fair for the first time,' said Fair Director Julie LaFave. 'Prepare your hearts and voices, because this summer, it's not just any show – it's an anthem revival with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.' Calling all guidos and guidettes: DJ Pauly D added to NYS Fair lineup

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — 'Oh yeah, yeah buddy!' Iconic TV personality and a DJ, Paul Michael DelVecchio Jr., who goes by the stage name Pauly D made his claim to fame back in 2009 as a main cast member of the reality show, 'Jersey Shore.' Fans should mark their calendars for the end of August, as DJ Pauly D will take on the Chevy Court Stage. He is scheduled to perform on Friday, Aug. 29, at 9 p.m. Pauly performs over 150 shows a year, including a residency with TAO Group in Las Vegas and Premier in Atlantic City, according to the Fair. 'DJ Pauly D is one of the most recognizable reality television stars and is also an award-winning musician that has entertained crowds around the world,' said Fair Director Julie LaFave. Red Hot Chilli Pipers to perform at the NYS Fair

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Yes, you read that right. The Scottish rock band, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, has been added to the growing lineup of performances at this year's NYS Fair. The group, which contains bagpipers, guitarists, keyboardists, and drummers, made their claim to fame in 2007 after winning 'When Will I Be Famous' a primetime television show in the United Kingdom. They will be performing at Chevy Court on Wednesday, August 27 at 6 p.m. The group has released nine albums in all, including 'Blast Live,' which was certified platinum three times in 2008, while their fourth album skyrocketed to the No. 2 spot on Amazon's Top Music Chart behind only Adele's record-breaking album '21.' 'We're always trying to bring the next big act to The Fair that will leave fairgoers feeling as if they just experienced something totally unique,' said Fair Director Julie LaFave.
