R&B pop group 98 Degrees to return to the NYS Fair
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The 'Just One Night' singers will return and hit the Suburban Park Stage this summer.
98 Degrees, known for 'I Do Cherish You,' 'The Hardest Thing,' 'My Everything,' 'Because of You,' and more, performed back in 2021 — and they clearly couldn't get enough.
They will return on Monday, Aug. 25, at 8 p.m.
Known for their seamless harmonies and signature R&B-inspired ballads, 98 Degrees is an internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum, multi-award-winning and nominated vocal group comprised of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre, according to the Fair.
'Fresh on the heels of their new album, we're looking forward to what's sure to be a performance that brings on the nostalgia for longtime listeners while introducing a new generation of fans to the sultry sounds that defined the '90s!' said Fair Director, Julie LaFave
The Fair starts Wednesday, August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1.
All concerts are included in the price of admission, which is on sale now through the Fair's recently launched Star-Spangled Savings ticket sale promotion.

Joe Jonas Reflects on Infamous ‘South Park' Episode: ‘I Was the Only Brother That Loved It'
Joe Jonas has taken a look back at South Park's famous spotlight of the Jonas Brothers, admitting that he views it as a personal 'claim to fame.' Joe's comments appear in the new episode of Mythical Kitchen's Last Meals (via Entertainment Weekly), where he explained to host Josh Scherer that his opinions were not shared by his brothers at the time. More from Billboard Kneecap Announce Massive Wembley Arena Headline Show Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR Announce '$ome $pecial $hows 4 U.K.' Tour Dates Marcie Jones, Lead Singer of Marcie & The Cookies, Dies at 79 'I think I was the only brother that loved it,' Joe explained. 'Our skin was not as thick back then, and I thought it was hilarious, because I watched South Park, and I was like, 'This is so funny, I know what they're doing, they make fun of everyone!' 'To be made fun of by a comic is usually a sign that they give a s–t, and they care, and it's funny,' he added. 'They really went for us.' Joe, along with brothers Kevin and Nick, were spotlighted as part of The Ring, the premiere episode of South Park's 13th season in March 2009. The episode, which was inspired by the release of Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience just weeks earlier, sees the fictionalized trio convincing their fans to wear purity rings at the behest of Disney mascot Mickey Mouse. However, Jonas agreed that he was able to see the humor in the South Park parody, noting that the band weren't the specific focus, but rather it was 'Boss Mickey' that was in the sights of the creators. 'I mean, what an honor to get my ass kicked by Mickey,' Jonas added. 'I think it's one of my favorite episodes. And later on, now, we just laugh. We love that. I think it's so great. Definitely a claim to fame for me.' The recent comments from Joe align with Nick's own from 2016, in which he addressed the episode in a Reddit 'Ask Me Anything' session. 'When it first came out I didn't think it was funny to be honest, but probably because I was actually living all of that in real time and so it just made it harder to come and live your life as a young person and have all that going on,' he explained. 'But years later and once the purity rings were no longer around, it was very funny to me and I've actually watched the episode a few times.' Joe himself reflected on the episode just months later in his own AMA session, stating he was 'so pumped' when it first aired, but conceded that 'Nick was really kind of not into watching it.' 'I thought it was the funniest thing at the time and it's kind of a compliment because obviously if you go to a comedy show and they pick you out and make fun of you, you can't heckle back, you gotta just take it and enjoy it,' he explained. 'And for me I've always been a fan and I knew that was kind of a wow we made it moment, and also they were kind of attacking Disney more than me, so I didn't really feel threatened. 'Now I watch it back and laugh and Mickey kicked my ass so I won the episode by being beat up by Mickey Mouse.' Joe's comments also come just days after the release of his second studio album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, which will be followed in August by the Jonas Brothers' seventh album, Greetings from Your Hometown. Exclusive Culpa Nuestra (Our Fault) first look pictures see Noah and Nick reunite following painful breakup
The final film in the Culpable series, Culpa Nuestra (Our Fault) is on the way, and Cosmopolitan UK can reveal a first look at the Amazon Prime Video film. The exclusive images show Noah (Nicole Wallace) and Nick (Gabriel Guevara) reunited for the first time since their devastating breakup, as they attend the wedding of Jenna and Lion. In one pic, Nick looks tense as he tries to enjoy the big day, while surrounded by the newlyweds' family and friends. In another image, Noah and Nick stand side-by-side as they watch their friends kiss for the first time as a married couple. Noah has a tear in her eye, while Nick looks on in amazement. In another photo, on a separate occasion, we see Noah smiling as she chats with newbie Fran Morcillo, who joins the film as Simon for the third instalment. Does Noah have a new love interest? And in a fourth image, Nick appears to be arm-in-arm with Sofia, played by Gabriela Andrada, while on a night out. We need answers! The third and final film will see Wallace and Guevara bring the loveable characters to life one last time, as they close the unforgettable saga. The official synopsis reads: "Jenna and Lion's wedding sets the stage for the long-awaited reunion between Noah and Nick, some time after their breakup. Nick's inability to forgive Noah creates an seemingly insurmountable barrier between them. "He, now heir to his grandfather's business empire, and she, just starting her career, resist reigniting a flame that still smolders within them. But now that their paths have crossed again, will love prove stronger than resentment?" The complete returning cast includes: Marta Hazas (Días mejores, Pequeñas coincidencias), Iván Sánchez (Bosé, Hospital Central), Victor Varona (Cielo Grande, Dani Who?), Eva Ruiz, Goya Toledo(Amores perros, Veneno), Gabriela Andrada (Los protegidos ADN, Los herederos de la tierra), Álex Béjar (Élite, Al fondo hay sitio), Javier Morgade (Desaparecidos, Delfines de plata), Felipe Londoño (Entrevías, Perfil falso). Culpa Nuestra (Our Fault) will air on Prime Video this October. It follows Culpa Mía (My Fault) and Culpa Tuya (Your Fault) and will be the final of the three adaptations of Mercedes Ron's Wattpad book series. Banijay Iberia prodco Pokeepsie Films makes the movies, which have spawned an English-language remake, My Fault: London. Culpa Nuestra (Our Fault) will air on Amazon Prime Video in October.
