Firefighters have been tackling a blaze of about 200 tonnes of hay bales which were part of a haystack. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Rendlesham Lane in Campsea Ashe on Thursday at about 20:37 BST. It said four appliances were initially called out to incident and two appliances from Aldeburgh and Orford remained as the fire was ongoing. Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace in connection with a large fire at a removals and storage crews from Norfolk and Suffolk were called to Britannia Alan Cook, on Pinbush Road in Gisleham, Lowestoft, at about midnight on 8 Police said it was treating the incident at the family-owned business as arson and has appealed for witnesses."Officers have studied CCTV footage that show a man acting suspiciously climbing over a fence of the premises and [he] is seen on or near containers," a spokesperson said. About 15 fire vehicles went to the incident. People living nearby were advised to keep windows and doors closed because of the smoke. No-one was inside but customers' possessions were Fire and Rescue Service said its crews had spent the night tackling the flames. A statement the removals and storage company posted said: "We are heartbroken by the far-reaching impact this has had on the livelihoods of our valued customers, our dedicated staff, our family business." A blaze at a farm that spread across several barns was accidentally caused by a furnace, the fire service than half a dozen fire engines were sent to Cherry Tree Farm in Metfield, Suffolk, close to the Norfolk border, at about 01:45 BST on buildings contained straw bales, farm machinery and several acetylene cylinders. Crews remained at the site over the weekend and the fire service it would be reinspecting the barns later to ensure there was no risk of reignition. "A fire investigation has been carried out and the cause established – it was an accidental fire caused by a furnace," a spokesperson for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said. The fire service said on Friday the blaze had "escalated quickly" and eight engines had been at the spokesperson added it had been a "large and complex incident involving significant hazards".The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was also at the manage the fire, the area was divided into four sectors.
