Israel in tension as this Middle East country gets ultra-modern fighter jets and missiles from global superpower, the countries are...

New Delhi: After Israel's fierce air strike, speculations started that Iran can now buy fighter jets from China. Meanwhile, a video is going viral on Chinese social media in which it is said that Iran has got 40 J-10C fighter jets from China. What does the Chinese video show? User Qin Lintao, who claimed to be from War Research Society, said that Iran has received the first batch of J-10C fighter jets from China. In this video, it has been claimed that the Chinese J-10C aircraft is equipped with PL-15 air to air missile, stealth technology, powerful radar and combat capabilities. This is the same J-10 aircraft that was used by the Pakistani Air Force against India's Rafale fighter jet. Why is Israel so much worried with this deal? Earlier, Israel had appealed to China to use its influence to stop Iran from increasing its military and nuclear power. Some time ago, Israel's Consul General in Shanghai Ravit Baier had said, 'China is the only country that has the ability to influence Iran. Iran can be ruined if China stops buying oil from it.' He said that China can put pressure on Iran. They have political power over Iran. Let us tell you that China buys 90 percent of Iran's oil. There is an agreement between the two for 25 years. In return, China will give Iran ultra-modern technology and weapons. What is the understanding between China and Iran? Even after this request of Israel, it is believed that China has given 4.5 generation J-10C fighter jet to Iran. Earlier, Iran was buying Sukhoi-35 fighter jet from Russia but this deal has been put on hold. Russia had offered Sukhoi-35 to Iran and asked for Iranian drones and missiles in return. Iran's Shahed-136 drones have become synonymous with the Ukraine war. The Russian army has wreaked havoc on Ukraine by attacking it with thousands of Iranian drones. It is believed that Iran has bought J-10C from China after the delay in getting Sukhoi-35 from Russia. However, Iran or China has not yet officially confirmed this. How is this deal beneficial for China? This move of China is now believed to provoke Israel, which is constantly threatening to attack Iran again. Earlier, Pakistan had claimed that it had attacked India's Rafale jet with the help of J-10 fighter jet and PL 15 missile. After this claim of Pakistan, China has now started selling it to the countries of the Middle East and Africa. China wants to capture the arms market by selling J-10C to anti-American countries. After this move of Iran, others in the Middle East may also move towards buying fighter jets from China.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards commander says Iran purchased Russian-made Sukhoi 35 fighter jets

Iran has purchased Russian-made Sukhoi-35 fighter jets, a senior Revolutionary Guards commander said on Monday, amid Western concerns about Tehran and Moscow's growing military cooperation. This is the first time an Iranian official has confirmed the purchase of Su-35 jets. However, Ali Shadmani, who was quoted by the Student News Network, did not clarify how many jets were purchased and whether they had already been delivered to Iran. "Whenever necessary, we make military purchases to strengthen our air, land, and naval forces. ... The production of military equipment has also accelerated," the deputy Coordinator of the Khatam-ol-Anbia Central Headquarters said. "If the enemy acts foolishly, it will taste the bitter taste of being hit by our missiles, and none of its interests in the occupied territories will remain safe," Shadmani warned referring to Iran's arch-rival in the region, Israel. In November 2023, Iran's Tasnim news agency said Tehran had finalized arrangements to buy Russian fighter jets. Earlier this month, Iran and Russia signed a comprehensive strategic partnership which did not mention arms transfers but said the two will develop their "military-technical cooperation."

Iran's IRGC Confirms Purchase Of Russian Advanced Sukhoi-35 Jets In First

Monday Reuters and other agencies have cited a senior Revolutionary Guards Commander (IRGC) to say Iran has purchased Russian-made Sukhoi-35 fighter jets. Never before have the Iranians confirmed the purchase of advanced Su-35 jets, though for years it's been well-known that they have significant Russian military equipment. 'Whenever necessary, we make military purchases to strengthen our air, land and naval forces… The production of military equipment has also accelerated,' the deputy Coordinator of the Khatam-ol-Anbia Central Headquarters announced in a statement. 'If the enemy acts foolishly, it will taste the bitter taste of being hit by our missiles, and none of its interests in the Occupied Territories will remain safe,' Shadmani continued in reference to Iran's archnemesis Israel. Iran has been forced to retreat from post-Assad Syria, and its proxy Hezbollah has suffered devastating losses, especially the death last year of Secretary-General Hussein Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike, which was the single biggest blow yet. As for the new jets, it's unclear whether these transfers have taken place yet, or how many have been ordered. Russia has seen its trade and defense relationship strengthened with non-aligned and especially so-called pariah states like North Korea and Iran. Reports commonly estimate that Iran's Air Force only possesses a few dozen strike aircraft which already includes some older Russian jets as well as very aged American jets which were acquired before the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Crucially this comes in the wake of last-year's unprecedented tit-for-tat exchange of missile and drones strikes between Iran and Israel. Neither side ultimately disclosed the true extent of damage or possible casualties from the exchanges which were related do soaring Gaza tensions, and the fact that Iran is a big supporter of anti-Israel proxies Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iraqi Shia paramilitary organizations. Trump has also vowed 'maximum pressure' against Iran, so no doubt this a potential near-future confrontation with Washington is big on the minds of the Ayatollah and his IRGC commanders.

The commander, Ali Shadmani, confirmed the purchase for the first time on Monday but did not specify how many jets had been bought or whether they had already been delivered. Iran and Russia signed a comprehensive strategic partnership on Jan. 17 which said that the two countries would develop their "military-technical cooperation."
