Final Qualifiers for summer festival for gifted, creative students in Capital

Sana'a - Saba: Hadi Ammar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research for the Basic Education Sector, on Saturday inspected the final qualifying rounds for the fourth Summer Festival for the Gifted and Creative Students at summer schools in the capital, Sana'a. Ammar, along with Abdul Qader al-Mahdi, Head of the Education Sector in the Capital and Vice Chairman of the Summer Courses Subcommittee, and Ahmed al-Khazan, Director of the Orphanage, listened to a number of contestants in Quran memorization, poetry, public speaking, and chanting. The visitors viewed the work of a number of contestants in the fields of innovation, theater, drawing, and sculpture, praising the creativity of the students enrolled in the summer courses. They emphasized their commitment to fostering and nurturing these talents to benefit from them in their respective fields. Abdullah Al-Madani, Vice Chairman of the Festival's Organizing Committee and Deputy Director of School Activities in the Education Sector, explained that 61 participants competed in the final rounds in Quran memorization, poetry, theater, chanting, drawing, sculptures, recitation, public speaking, and folklore (individually and collectively). He commended the efforts of the judging committees, which included highly qualified and specialized staff, in successfully conducting the competitions. It's worth noting that the festival launched last Monday with the participation of 800 contestants from various summer schools across the capital's districts who qualified from the preliminary rounds held at the district level. Hajjah deputy governor visits summer courses activities in Hajjah City

Hajjah - Saba: Hajjah Deputy Governor Adel Shali, along with the directors of the Health Office, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahlani, and the Geological Survey Authority, Mohammed Al-Qudami, reviewed the summer courses' activities in the governorate center today. Along with the Director of Financial Affairs at the Health Office, Mohammed Al-Shaibani, they listened to a briefing from the summer courses' organizers on the level of implementation of cultural, scientific, and sports activities. The visitors emphasized their commitment to protecting generations from false cultures and destructive ideas, arming them with their faith identity and Quranic culture, and equipping them with the guidance of God and the Holy Quran. They urged students to make the most of the summer courses to achieve the desired goals of building an informed generation armed with knowledge and science. They praised the efforts of the Summer Courses Subcommittee and the educational staff dedicated to this endeavor. Yahya Al-Yousfi, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Ali Al-Qateeb, the governorate's education sector official, and Yahya Al-Wazzan, the director of the Finance Office, also inspected the summer courses' activities in Abs District. Anti-Corruption launches Sana'a summer course in al-Wahda district

Sana'a - Saba: The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Summer Courses Subcommittee in the capital Sana'a's al-Wahda district launched an awareness program on Sunday aimed at strengthening integrity values and preventing corruption among summer course students. The program, themed "Knowledge and Jihad," is rooted in Quranic principles and the directives of the Leader of the Revolution. Raidan al-Mutawakil, Vice Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, emphasized the program's goal of educating young people about the dangers and impacts of corruption on individuals and society across various sectors. He stressed the importance of instilling a Quranic faith culture that criminalizes corruption, based on religious, national, and societal responsibility. The launch event, attended by local officials, highlighted the Anti-Corruption Commission's role in promoting integrity and transparency among youth through summer courses. Speakers emphasized the need for collective efforts to cultivate a society that values integrity and opposes corruption. On the program's first day, Dr. Yahya al-Marrani and Mohammed al-Qanas from the Anti-Corruption Commission delivered lectures and presented educational materials on integrity, responsibility, honesty, and the risks and prevention of corruption.
