Sana'a - Saba:
Hadi Ammar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research for the Basic Education Sector, on Saturday inspected the final qualifying rounds for the fourth Summer Festival for the Gifted and Creative Students at summer schools in the capital, Sana'a.
Ammar, along with Abdul Qader al-Mahdi, Head of the Education Sector in the Capital and Vice Chairman of the Summer Courses Subcommittee, and Ahmed al-Khazan, Director of the Orphanage, listened to a number of contestants in Quran memorization, poetry, public speaking, and chanting.
The visitors viewed the work of a number of contestants in the fields of innovation, theater, drawing, and sculpture, praising the creativity of the students enrolled in the summer courses.
They emphasized their commitment to fostering and nurturing these talents to benefit from them in their respective fields.
Abdullah Al-Madani, Vice Chairman of the Festival's Organizing Committee and Deputy Director of School Activities in the Education Sector, explained that 61 participants competed in the final rounds in Quran memorization, poetry, theater, chanting, drawing, sculptures, recitation, public speaking, and folklore (individually and collectively).
He commended the efforts of the judging committees, which included highly qualified and specialized staff, in successfully conducting the competitions.
It's worth noting that the festival launched last Monday with the participation of 800 contestants from various summer schools across the capital's districts who qualified from the preliminary rounds held at the district level. The festival concludes tomorrow with a ceremony honoring the winners in various categories.

Sana'a - Saba: The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses for Female Students in the Capital Secretariat held the central closing exhibition of the activities' outcomes and an honorary event for the winners of the cultural curricular, Quran recitation, and creative talent competitions under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad." The exhibition included photos, models, handicrafts, and various craft products, reflecting the advanced level of the female students and their creativity and talents. At the honoring ceremony, Ibtisam Al-Mahtouri, head of the Summer Schools Subcommittee at the Secretariat, praised the efforts made to ensure the success of the summer school programs and objectives, and the quality of the activities that contributed to honing the students' skills. She urged the students to continue their education and knowledge throughout the year and to gain divine guidance. She commended the community's engagement with the summer schools this year, which reflected awareness of their importance and role in protecting young people from the dangers of soft warfare. At the conclusion, which included hymns, poems, an operetta, and an expressive sketch, the top three winners in the curricular, cultural, and Quranic recitation competitions were honored with certificates of appreciation and in-kind prizes. Dhamar - Saba Today, Dhamar Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti honored the winners of cultural and creative competitions for summer courses and schools in the province, held under the slogan 'Science and Jihad'. The ceremony included students who excelled in various fields such as Quran memorization, public speaking, singing, drawing, poetry, theater, and others, in the presence of local, judicial, and security leaders. The governor praised the success of the events and their role in discovering and refining students' talents, encouraging them to excel and compete, emphasizing the importance of these activities in fortifying their minds and development amidst the current challenges. For his part, Public Mobilization official Ahmed Al-Dhorani pointed to the importance of summer courses in confronting soft warfare, while Education Director Mohammed Al-Hadi explained that 575 male and female students participated in the qualifiers from the school and district levels reaching the final competitions at the provincial level.
