During his time at Sunny G, the "brilliant" host became a "familiar voice behind" one of its "most-loved radio shows." In a social media post, the station said: "We are sorry to bring you this sad news, but it is with deep sadness that we share the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend, colleague, and longest-serving volunteer at Sunny Govan Community Radio, Graham Leggat. "Graham sadly passed away this weekend, and the entire Sunny G family is heartbroken. "Graham began volunteering with Sunny G as far back as 2002, when we were finding our feet as a grassroots community development organisation. "Since then, he became a familiar voice behind one of our most-loved radio shows, sharing music, memories, and laughter every single week. "His passion for radio, along with his incredible warmth and wit, made him a true legend not just at Sunny Govan but throughout the wider community. "Of course, nobody could match Graham's signature sound – the loudest YAAAAAAAASSSSSS in Scottish history! "His mighty roar lit up the airwaves and brought smiles to countless faces over the years. "This was Graham through and through – bold, brilliant, and full of heart. "His kindness, loyalty, and sense of humour lit up our office, and his presence will be sorely missed by all of us who worked alongside him." "We will be sharing some special tributes in the near future to celebrate his life and will provide funeral details soon. "Rest easy, Graham. Sunny G won't be the same without you." Shattered friends of Graham shared their memories and tributes to the host under the station's post. One wrote: "Graham was a very special guy, and I still think of him fondly after all these years. "I still remember an event we went to together at the initiative years ago. He was a breath of fresh air and will be missed by so, so many. "Fly high, Graham." Another said: "Graham was so funny, kind, happy to talk with anyone, and would easily lift your spirits. He'll be TRULY missed. "Next time you hear thunder, that'll be Graham shouting YAAAAAASSSS!
