OnePlus just made charging your watch and phone way less messy

OnePlus has recently released its 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 version, rocking powerful internals in a more compact body. Now, the company is somewhat surprising us with a curious new product that just hit the shelves. And nope, it's not a new smartwatch or a phone, but it's something you may need for your smartwatch and phone. And yep, you guessed it right: we're talking about a new charging cable. Usually, a charging cable won't necessarily make the headlines, but this one is a bit different. It's a cable that charges both your phone and your OnePlus Watch at the same time. Gone are the days of cable messiness all over your desk or nightstand! The new cable is red, which is nothing new, and it's also Supervooc-branded for fast charging. It charges your phone via the typical USB-C, but alongside that, it also features a mid-mounted puck with POGO pins for your OnePlus smartwatch. It will charge your OnePlus Watch 2, Watch 2R, or Watch 3. Meanwhile, if you only charge a OnePlus phone, the cable supports up to 80W fast charging. When you charge both your phone and your smartwatch, the phone gets 67W while the smartwatch gets 10W of power. This interesting cable is available right now for purchase from OnePlus for $29.99. Of course, this is just the cable, so you need your own charging brick to use with it. The cable is also equipped with an E-marker smart chip to protect your phone and smartwatch from overload, and is 120 cm long. So there you go! A dual charging cable. Yep, we've seen dual charging stands for wireless charging, but as you know, wireless charging is slower than traditional wired charging, so OnePlus is being creative and innovative here. If I had OnePlus devices, I'd definitely be equipping myself with this cable, but unfortunately, this one doesn't work with iPhones and Apple Watches, and that's what I'm currently rocking, personally. So, I'm left waiting for Apple to offer something similar. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase Check Out The Offer

This new OnePlus cable charges your phone and your smartwatch at the same time

Vlad 17 July 2025 OnePlus Accessories OnePlus has just launched a new charging cable, and normally that wouldn't be news. It's red, just as you'd expect, and it's Supervooc branded, unsurprisingly. But this one is special because it charges both your phone and your OnePlus smartwatch at the same time. The phone charging is accomplished through the standard USB-C, but as you can see, the cable also features a mid-mounted puck with pogo pins. This one will charge your OnePlus Watch 2, Watch 2R, and Watch 3. If you only charge a OnePlus phone, the cable supports up to 80W charging. If you charge both a phone and a smartwatch, the watch gets 10W and the phone 67W. The cable is available now from OnePlus for $29.99 / £27.99 / €27.99. Of course you'll need to provide your own charging brick, as this is just a cable. OnePlus Watch 2 OnePlus Watch 2R OnePlus Watch 3

OnePlus' 2-in-1 USB cable charges your phone and smartwatch at the same time

OnePlus announced a new USB-C charging cable that does more than just pass power and data from one device to another. The OnePlus 2-in-1 Supervooc Cable features an inline pogo pin connector that can be used to charge the company's OnePlus Watch 3, Watch 2, and Watch 2R smartwatches while also charging a connected smartphone. It's a more convenient solution for travelers and can help reduce desk clutter by eliminating at least one redundant charging cable. It's available now through OnePlus' online store for $29.99 and comes in a single length that's just over 47 inches long. It's the same price as the OnePlus Watch Charging Base that doesn't actually come with a USB-C cable, potentially making the new 2-in-1 solution an even better deal. The 2-in-1 Supervooc Cable can deliver up to 80W of power when connected to a single device like a laptop or smartphone. With a smartwatch attached power delivery is split between the two with up to 10W going to the wearable and up to 67W going to what's ever connected over USB-C. The charging cable's functionality is similar to the Universal Cable for Apple Watch that Nomad released earlier this year. That cable features an inline magnetic Apple Watch charger on one end and a much steeper $100 price tag. But instead of accusing OnePlus of stealing Nomad's idea, we should be encouraging other cable makers to follow suit. Assuming it's technically feasible, a multifunction USB-C charging cable with an inline wireless charging puck would be incredibly useful.

You won't believe the battery life on this super affordable tablet

If you're after a budget-friendly tablet that doesn't skimp on features, a good choice can be hard to find. Battery life and the screen are usually first to go in order to cut the price. But Oppo's latest tablet promises quite the opposite. The new Oppo Pad SE is a budget-friendly tablet that manages to squeeze in some surprisingly solid features, with a battery that frankly sounds like it belongs in a flagship device. Read more: Best tablets in 2025 for all budgets The headline feature is the enormous 9340mAh battery. Oppo reckons it'll give you up to 11 hours of video playback or 80 hours of music playback. You could, in theory, watch an entire season of your favourite series, answer some emails, and still have juice left scroll social media afterwards. When it finally does run out of juice, 33W Supervooc fast charging will get you back up and running. It's not just about the battery, though. The Pad SE has an 11-inch LCD display that's designed with eye comfort in mind. With up to 500 nits of brightness, it should be perfectly readable even in direct sunlight. It's also surprisingly svelte at just 7.39mm thick, so it's not going to weigh you down whether you're commuting, sofa-surfing, or handing it over to the kids. I mention handing it to the kids, because there's a definite family-friendly vibe here. Oppo's built-in Kids Mode lets parents set screen time and keep the small people away from the more questionable corners of the internet. Plus, there's integration with Google's Gemini AI, so you can churn out emails, organise notes, and keep on top of your to-do list. Interestingly, Oppo's O+ Connect ecosystem lets you ping files and photos between devices, mirror your phone screen on the tablet, and basically live your multitasking to your heart's content. The Oppo Pad SE is available now in Twilight Blue. Those in the UK can order it directly from Oppo and other retailers for £219. There's no word on US availability yet, and sadly there likely won't be. But if that changes, we'll let you know!
