CM to open Bhoomi national conclave on June 25
The Revenue department and the Survey and Land Records department will jointly organise 'Bhoomi,' a national conclave on digital survey for smart land governance – innovations, integration, and impact' in the State capital from June 25 to 28.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the conclave at Nishagandhi auditorium on the Kanakakkunnu Palace premises on June 25.
The conclave will be held at Uday Samudra hotel, Kovalam, the next two days. On June 28, a digital survey and a field visit will be held.
Revenue Ministers from various States, Revenue-Settlement commissioners, Survey directors, senior IAS officers from the two departments from 26 States and Union Territories, and national and international experts will attend the conclave.
The conclave will share the latest technology and experiences in land governance in light of Kerala's achievements over the two days.
The State's Ente Bhoomi portal will be highlighted at the conclave and technical and administrative measures driving the 'second land reforms' will also be discussed.
A digital survey expo will showcase the best practices and technological advancements on land administration.
The field visit on the third day of the conclave will provide an opportunity to see the digital survey that is in its third phase in the State.
