He made headlines with a memorable performance in domestic cricket at just 14 years of age. In one match, Chikara smashed 585 runs off 167 balls, hitting 55 fours and 52 sixes. This explosive knock came while playing for Mahi Cricket Academy against ACE Cricket Academy (Gorakhpur) in a 40-over match in December 2019. His team scored 704 runs and won the game by a massive margin of 355 runs. Before joining RCB, Swastik Chikara was a part of the Delhi Capitals franchise. Even in IPL 2025, he has played 4 matches with an economy rate of above 12, raising questions about returns on the heavy investment. Despite his explosive talent, Swastik Chikara has not been given a single opportunity to play for RCB so far this season. Swastik made his first-class debut against Bengal in October in the Ranji Trophy and scored a 74-ball 41 in the first innings. He made his T20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in November, although that outing didn't go as planned. Swastik hasn't yet featured in a match for Bengaluru.
