All the things Travis Kelce has said about Taylor Swift's new album: 'It's so fun'
Like many of us, Travis Kelce is just as excited about Taylor Swift's 12th studio album as we are. Swift revealed many details about her album, " The Life of a Showgirl," on Wednesday, during Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. The two-hour episode was Swift's podcast debut and Travis Kelce couldn't stop gushing about his girlfriend's new project as she spoke about it. "I know a lot about this album and I'm excited," Travis Kelce said. Here's everything Kelce has said about his girlfriend's highly anticipated new album. 'Entering a new era' As Swift revealed the orange-colored vinyl for "TLOAS," Kelce said Swift is "entering a new era." When asked about the significance of the color orange by Jason Kelce, Swift said, "It feels like kind of energetically how my life has felt, and this album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this [Eras] tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant." Swift went on and shared her collaborators on the upcoming album (Shellback and Max Martin) and listed some of their former collabs together, including "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "Shake It Off" and more. Kelce nodded and added, "That's the energy we're going with. I understand why it's orange now." 'I'm telling you it's 12' When Jason Kelce commented that "There's going to be some f---ing bangers" on the album, his brother chimed in and said, "I'm telling you it's 12," confirming that all of Swift's 12 tracks on "TLOAS" are in fact, "bangers." 'It's gonna be a good week' With Oct. 3 being the release date of the album, Kelce said it's "going to be a good week." Jason Kelce noted how the birthday of his daughter, Wyatt Kelce, falls on Oct. 3, and shared how his brother's birthday is on Oct. 5. Donna Kelce, Kelces' mom, is also on Oct. 9. "I picked a good month," Swift added. 'It's so fun' Travis Kelce may have made Swifties everywhere green with envy when he revealed that he's already listened to every song on his girlfriend's album. "It's so fun," he said. "I understand what she's saying and obviously I've been fortunate enough to hear every single song on here, so I know they're all 12 bangers." He went on and described the album as "a lot more upbeat" and "a lot more fun pop excitement." "I think it's a complete 180 from a lot of the songs on 'Tortured Poets' for sure," he added. Swift chimed in and said, "Oh yeah, life is more upbeat." 'This album is going to make you dance' When Swift shared how "amazing" the process of creating the album was for her and working with Shellback and Max Martin, Kelce said that "TLOAS" will make you move. "This album will make you dance," he added. "You're gonna be moving the entire album."

'The Life of a Showgirl' has no merch yet. Swifties took matters into their own hands.
It only took a twenty-second video clip for Taylor Swift fans to start buying into the singer's 12th album. Swift announced the name of her newest album, "The Life of a Showgirl," in a teaser for an Aug. 13 episode of "New Heights," the podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce. After the news broke, Swifties were quick to create their own merchandise, from friendship bracelets to crewnecks inspired by the album's name and color scheme. While Swift's store typically releases official merchandise, items for "The Life of a Showgirl" haven't been released yet, with the exception of a vinyl that's available to preorder. Here's a look at the fan-made merchandise available online. Swift's team files trademark applications for 'The Life of a Showgirl' TAS Rights Management, a company that manages Swift's intellectual property, filed trademark applications on Aug. 11 for phrases related to "The Life of a Showgirl." According to applications filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the company is pending approval for trademarks of the term "The Life of a Showgirl" and the abbreviation "TLOAS." This could hint that merch is on its way — the applications cover the use of the terms for goods like jewelry, stationery, tops and more. While the trademarks are pending, if approved, they would limit the use of the album's name in fan-made merchandise. However, Swifties have still gotten creative with their nods to "The Life of a Showgirl." A post shared by Beyond Epic Shop (@beyondepic_shop) Pink Dinosaur, an online and Kansas City-based boutique, launched preorders for a line of shirts featuring terms like "new era," "TS12" and "Taylor 12." According to Etsy's seller handbook, third-party sellers may be able to use designs and phrases inspired by items such as albums and celebrity names. However, if items infringe or violate existing trademarks, both the platform and intellectual property owners can push to take down the products. TheRomanticsCo, a Texas-based seller, rolled out a slew of showgirl shirts with phrases like "off duty showgirl," "showgirl era" and "showgirl life."
