Workshop on Single Window Portal for entrepreneurs held in Dindigul
'Dindi Tholilvazham 2025', a workshop for entrepreneurs and those aspiring to start their business ventures was held in Dindigul. The participants were given awareness on the Single Window Portal facility for application and clearance process, on Thursday.
Speaking at the workshop, Dindigul Collector S. Saravanan said that economic growth was important for the growth of the Nation and the State. The results of the development and its benefits should reach everyone.
He said that Dindigul was mainly an agriculture based district and there were a variety of crops. There were also more than 10,000 micro, small and big industries and lakhs of people were involved in these business ventures.
After agriculture, industries played a major role in the development of the district. In order to encourage entrepreneurs and those aspiring to start their business ventures the workshop was being conducted to create an awareness on the Single Window Portal facility which was a one portal for all clearances, he said.
He urged the participants to make use of the online portal for clearance and approvals. The participants were given awareness about the process on how to apply, documents to be submitted, obtain licence and permission for their venture and also for the grievance redressal.
A presentation was made on the Tamil Nadu Single Window Portal to the participants and it was followed by a presentation on BIZ Buddy System, guidance support and the MSMEs schemes. A question and answer session was held and experts clarified the doubts of the participants regarding the process.
