What began a few years ago as a player-led initiative to mentor and uplift tight ends has now grown into a full-fledged summer highlight. Co-founded by Travis Kelce , George Kittle, and Greg Olsen, TEU has quietly evolved from a niche training weekend into a cultural event, combining elite athletic development with unexpected moments of entertainment. George Kittle gives unfiltered take on Taylor Swift According to its official site, TEU is designed for players "to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more." But this year, the event added a little more sparkle—quite literally. For the second year in a row, TEU hosted its 'Tight Ends & Friends' concert, featuring top-tier country acts. Kane Brown was revealed as the surprise headliner, but what really sent the crowd into a frenzy was an unannounced appearance from Taylor Swift. In a moment that could've only happened in Kelce's universe, Swift walked on stage and delivered an impromptu performance of her smash hit, Shake It Off. Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky, who was on-site tossing passes, managed to capture the moment. 'Taylor could not have been kinder, more nice,' Kittle said. 'She said, 'You know, it might be fun to go sing 'Shake It Off,'' and we said, 'It'd be amazing' — twist my arm, Taylor, please. So that one worked. She was fantastic. For the venue—I think it was like maybe 1,000 people—that was the loudest 1,000 people I ever heard in my entire life. It was an incredible experience. I think everybody had fun watching that one.' This unexpected performance wasn't the only buzz from the event. Months after fans of Swift and Claire Kittle, wife of George Kittle, were involved in a viral social media feud, the two were seen sharing laughs and photos throughout the TEU festivities. What began with a rivalry-fueled tweet claiming 'Taylor Swift can be a billionaire, but she will never have Claire Kittle aura,' has now turned into what appears to be an easy friendship. Swift was spotted mingling at the TEU welcome party and later seen dancing alongside Claire Kittle during the concert night in Nashville. The off-field camaraderie was impossible to ignore, especially with Kelce preparing for his 13th NFL season and Kittle recently securing a massive four-year, $76.4 million extension. As Swift continues to support Kelce throughout the offseason, Chiefs fans can expect her presence in the stands to be a regular sight in 2025. "I also put up a billboard in Philadelphia," Duhaime says. To troll Eagles fans, he partnered with Tasty Clean, an edible cleaning spray company in Dallas, to buy a "Hey Philly, Tayvoodoo is real" billboard along Interstate 95. We know Kaitlin Olson from "High Potential" is a big Eagles fan, and was even the first guest on Kylie Kelce's podcast "Not Gonna Lie." "She bakes different things and brings them in for the players and coaches. I think it's brought some fun and some excitement into it the last couple of years," says Ryan Reynolds, not the actor but the head strength and conditioning coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. Reynolds has been with the organization for nine years and says Swift has brought a fun, new energy to the team. "She's integrated herself into the team, and it's been good," he says, admitting he enjoys her homemade Pop-Tarts. The narrative for Swift's boyfriend, Kansas City Chief's tight end Travis Kelce, has taken a step back in his 12th season in his enchanted NFL career. Some have even blamed the Traylor effect. However, the 35-year-old uses the narrative to keep him going during the Chiefs' playoff run, which USA TODAY's Nate Davis explores in his feature from the Super Bowl. "Kelce has seven catches for 125 yards and a touchdown in Kansas City's Divisional Round win vs. the Houston Texans. To start Super Bowl week, Swift wore a gorgeous red asymmetrical dress to the Grammy Awards. Swifties surmised the "T" dangling across her left upper thigh stood for "Taylor" or "Travis."
