George Kittle finally reveals his honest opinion about Taylor Swift's surprise performance at Travis Kelce's Tight End University

Tight End University 2025 wasn't just another offseason retreat for NFL stars—it turned into a star-studded spectacle, thanks to
Taylor Swift
. What began a few years ago as a player-led initiative to mentor and uplift tight ends has now grown into a full-fledged summer highlight. Co-founded by
Travis Kelce
, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen, TEU has quietly evolved from a niche training weekend into a cultural event, combining elite athletic development with unexpected moments of entertainment.
George Kittle gives unfiltered take on Taylor Swift
According to its official site, TEU is designed for players "to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more." But this year, the event added a little more sparkle—quite literally.
For the second year in a row, TEU hosted its 'Tight Ends & Friends' concert, featuring top-tier country acts.
Kane Brown was revealed as the surprise headliner, but what really sent the crowd into a frenzy was an unannounced appearance from Taylor Swift. In a moment that could've only happened in Kelce's universe, Swift walked on stage and delivered an impromptu performance of her smash hit, Shake It Off.
Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky, who was on-site tossing passes, managed to capture the moment.
'Taylor could not have been kinder, more nice,' Kittle said. 'She said, 'You know, it might be fun to go sing 'Shake It Off,'' and we said, 'It'd be amazing' — twist my arm, Taylor, please. So that one worked. She was fantastic. For the venue—I think it was like maybe 1,000 people—that was the loudest 1,000 people I ever heard in my entire life.
It was an incredible experience. I think everybody had fun watching that one.'
This unexpected performance wasn't the only buzz from the event.
Months after fans of Swift and Claire Kittle, wife of George Kittle, were involved in a viral social media feud, the two were seen sharing laughs and photos throughout the TEU festivities. What began with a rivalry-fueled tweet claiming 'Taylor Swift can be a billionaire, but she will never have Claire Kittle aura,' has now turned into what appears to be an easy friendship.
Swift was spotted mingling at the TEU welcome party and later seen dancing alongside Claire Kittle during the concert night in Nashville. The off-field camaraderie was impossible to ignore, especially with Kelce preparing for his 13th NFL season and Kittle recently securing a massive four-year, $76.4 million extension.
As Swift continues to support Kelce throughout the offseason, Chiefs fans can expect her presence in the stands to be a regular sight in 2025.

Christian Watson's early return stuns insiders as Packers consider trading veteran WR Romeo Doubs
Christian Watson's early return stuns Packers (Image via Getty) Injury setbacks have haunted Christian Watson since his NFL debut, but now the tide may be turning. The Green Bay Packers wide receiver, once viewed as a potential breakout star, is pushing toward an unexpected early return from an ACL tear. With his recovery speeding up, Watson's presence could reshape the Packers' entire offensive dynamic in 2025. And it's already causing ripple effects in Green Bay's wide receiver room. Watson eyes Week 1 return as Doubs faces trade risk in Packers WR shake-up Peter Bukowski of Locked On Packers has sparked excitement around Watson's health timeline. 'I don't think it's crazy for him to be back early in the season. I don't think it's crazy that he starts the season on the 53. Like, not on PUP... Because they think Week one, Week two, Week three, maybe he could be ready to go,' he said in a video update. If that happens, Watson will beat typical ACL recovery timelines. Bukowski even likened Watson's path to that of former Packers lineman Bryan Bulaga, who returned within nine months. He labeled Watson's case 'just juicy, deliciously ironic' because of the WR's injury-prone history. Watson's early availability could mean more than just healthy depth—it could unlock Green Bay's offense in ways the current WR group cannot. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Live Comfortably: 60 m² Prefab Bungalow for Seniors in Hanoi Pre Fabricated Homes | Search Ads Search Now Undo 'He would have huge impacts on this offense,' Bukowski emphasized. Beyond recovery, Watson's value lies in his rare deep-threat capability. 'For whatever you think of Christian Watson, watch the tape and you will see a player that affects defenses... It is Watson's gravity that makes the play, even though he doesn't get the ball,' Bukowski said. He cast doubt on rookie Matthew Golden replicating that skill: 'We don't have any idea if Matthew Golden can actually generate that sort of gravity. ' As Watson targets early return, trade rumors swirl around trusted target Romeo Doubs With Watson trending toward a midseason return and young WRs crowding the depth chart, a shake-up seems imminent. Reports now suggest that Matt LaFleur is open to trading a familiar name: Romeo Doubs. 'I've always said that I think Doubs is the guy that makes the most sense,' Bukowski noted, citing Doubs' trade appeal. Past off-field issues and comparative market value might make Doubs the odd man out. For Watson, though, a surprise comeback could be more than a feel-good story—it could be his career-saving, contract-defining moment. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Travis Kelce's five-word sweetest message to Taylor Swift has Swifties emotional after her surprise appearance at TEU
's Tight End University has always been a celebration of elite talent and camaraderie among NFL tight ends, but this year, the annual event in Nashville turned into something even more unforgettable — thanks to an unexpected appearance by global pop sensation . Tired of too many ads? go ad free now After Taylor Swift's surprise concert moment, Travis Kelce's loving message sparks frenzy among Swifties The Kansas City Chiefs star, joined by co-founders George Kittle and Greg Olsen, hosted the multi-day camp filled with film study, on-field drills, and recovery sessions. Since its inception in 2021, the goal of TEU has been to foster growth and community among tight ends across the league. But Tuesday night's festivities at Brooklyn Bowl added a new flavor to that mission — and an electrifying one at that. The evening featured live performances from country music stars like Jordan Davis, Chase Rice, and Kane Brown. But in a surprise twist, Swift — who had been in Nashville supporting Kelce — jumped on stage during Brown's set and delivered a thrilling rendition of her hit 'Shake It Off.' According to reports, she made the call just minutes before stepping up, quickly scribbling down the chords, borrowing Chase Rice's guitar, and performing without monitors — a bold and spontaneous act that sent the crowd into a frenzy. The NFL acknowledged the moment on Instagram, writing, "Just a casual surprise performance at @te_university ✨." Kelce didn't miss a beat in showing his support, commenting, 'Turn me up Tay Tay!!!' — a sweet nod to the bond the two have shared so openly since going public in 2023. Kelce was also spotted dancing backstage during Swift's impromptu performance, further proving the kind of joy and fun the couple brings to each other's worlds. Their support goes both ways: Swift has been a fixture at Kelce's games, including cheering him on during Super Bowl LIX, while Kelce traveled overseas to attend her Eras Tour shows in Paris and Amsterdam. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Now with her record-breaking Eras Tour wrapped up — 149 shows across 21 countries — Swift is planning to spend more time in the stands. With her calendar clearer than ever, the pop icon is expected to attend more of Kelce's games in the upcoming season. At this point, it's clear: whether on the field or the stage, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are rewriting the rules on what power couples can be. Also Read:
