Dayton to host home-schooling convention this weekend
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Christian home-schooling convention will be at the Dayton Convention Center this weekend.
The Teach Them Diligently event, running from Thursday, March 20, to Saturday, March 22, aims to provide community and educational resources for families that homeschool.
'We are honored to welcome the Teach Them Diligently Convention to Dayton,' said Jacquelyn Powell, Destination Dayton president/CEO. 'Destination Dayton works to bring a broad range of meetings, conventions and events to the region, helping to strengthen the area's economic vitality.'

This is the 14th Teach Them Diligently (TTD) event. Activities include workshops, an exhibit hall, keynote speakers and programming made for families.
'This convention is more than just an educational event; it's a transformational experience for families,' said Leslie Nunnery, co-founder of Teach Them Diligently. 'We want to equip and encourage parents in their calling, helping them build a strong foundation for their children's faith and education.'

The keynote speakers will be Ken Ham, Answers in Genesis; Dr. Jeff Myers, Summit Ministries; and Stephen Kendrick, producer of the films 'The Forge,' 'War Room' and 'Fireproof.'
Topics discussed in the workshops will include high school preparation, college readiness, parenting and faith-based education. There will be homeschool lesson materials, learning tools and resources in the Exhibit Hall.
