The man was attacked by a wild elephant in Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve. A tourist from Kerala narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation after a wild elephant charged at him in Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve. The terrifying moment was captured on camera and circulated on social media, where it drew shock and criticism from viewers. The man was attacked when he was standing near the roadside bushes. Videos circulating online show the tusker suddenly running towards him from across the road. The incident unfolded in full view of bystanders and passing vehicles. Wild Elephant Charges At Tourist In the first video, shot from a distance, the elephant is seen running from the other side of the road. As it crosses, a white car is also seen passing by, but it stops abruptly to let the tusker pass. The animal then charges straight at the man, who begins to run in panic. While fleeing, the tourist stumbles and falls on the road. The elephant catches up and is seen pinning him down with its foot as shocked onlookers scream from the roadside. Fortunately, the animal retreated after a few moments, which allowed the man to escape. Close-Up View From Passing Car A second video, filmed from inside the same white car, offers a closer look at the frightening encounter. It shows the man running as the elephant follows closely. He trips and falls, and the tusker steps on him briefly. The video was shared online with the caption: 'Risking your life for just selfies is foolishness.
